Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA FORMAçãO DE UMA VEDAçãO OU TAMPãO DE GEL DE SILICONE OU ELASTOMéRICA". A presente invenção se refere ao uso de um composto inibidor em uma composição de organossilício para inibir a cura da composição de organossilício por uma reação de hidrossililação a uma temperatura de 40<198>C a 100<198>C, ou 100<198>C e acima e uma pressão de 1 X 10^ 6^ N/m^ 2^ a 5 X 10^ 6^ N/m^ 2^ ou 5 X 10^ 6^ N/m^ 2^ e acima. Em uma aplicação preferida a composição de organossilício cura para formar uma vedação ou tampão de gel de silicone ou elastomérica dentro de um poço de petróleo ou gás. O composto inibidor preferido é 1-etinil-1-ciclopentanol ou 1-etinil-1-ciclohexanol.
