Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA MODULAR E PARA DEMODULAR PELO MENOS UMA PARTE DE UM SINAL DE SINCRONIZAçãO EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAçãO MóVEL". Em uma concretização, um processo e aparelho para modulação de preâmbulo de Canal de Acesso Aleatório (RACH) são apresentados nos quais os componentes real (I) e imaginário (Q) de um preâmbulo RACH complexo (b(k)) são filtrados em correspondentes filtros modeladores de pulso (206,208). Conseq³entemente, as transições de fase no sinal resultante são limitadas em todas as posições de chip, e os códigos de quadrifase resultantes produzem sinais transmitidos com Relações de Potência de Pico para Média (PAPRs) mais baixas que aquelas que resultam usando esquemas de modulação de Chaveamento de Fase Híbrido (HPSK) convencionais. Por outro lado, o código de sincronização de quadrifase resultante retém a mesma magnitude de auto-correlação aperiódica de código binário original (a(k)), otimizada para produzir a mínima probabilidade de sincronização incorreta.
