Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR TIRA DE AçO E TIRA DE AçO CARBONO COMUM RESULTANTE". Expõe-se um processo para produzir tira que compreende fundir continuamente aço carbono comum em uma tira de não mais que 5 mm de espessura e enrolar a tira. A tira é subseq³entemente desenrolada e laminada a frio, então recozida para produzir na mesma uma microestrutura isenta de tensão. A laminação a frio produz uma redução a frio suficiente para aumentar a resistência à tração fora da tira para pelo menos 680 MPa mas é tal que o alongamento total à ruptura da tira depois do recozimento encontra-se na faixa de 8% a 12%. A laminação a frio pode produzir uma redução a frio da espessura da tira na faixa de 40% a 80%. A tira fundida continuamente poderá ser opcionalmente laminada a quente em linha antes do enrolamento, para produzir uma redução de espessura de tira inicial situada na faixa de 40% a 60%.
