Abstract

"ARTICULAçãO ESFéRICA COM SISTEMA DE VEDAçãO INTEGRADO AO ANEL RETENTOR" A presente invenção refere-se a uma articulação esférica destinada a diferentes aplicações, em especial suspensão de veículos automotores, constituída de um pino (1) com uma extremidade destinada à fixação em uma contra-peça, e a outra extremidade esférica (2), a qual é encaixada em um mancal (3) de perfil interno consequentemente esférico, que por sua vez é montado na região interna da carcaça (4), cuja região externa é destinada à fixação em outra contra-peça. A carcaça (4) é fechada por sobre um anel retentor (5), que por sua vez comprime o mancal (3) e o pino (1), de maneira a impedir a movimentação axial ou radial entre as peças, inclusive a desmontagem do conjunto, porém permitindo a movimentação rotacional e oscilatória necessárias para o funcionamento do conjunto. Além disso, o anel retentor (5) sustenta as vedações externa (6) e interna (7), preferencialmente vulcanizadas, tanto da região entre o anel retentor (5) e a carcaça (4), quanto da região entre o anel retentor (5) e o pino (1). Nesta região, à parte da vedação próxima ao pino (1) é tensionada por um anel vedador (8), que produz o efeito de vedação desejado entre as partes.
