Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"AGENTE DE BOROçãO EM FORMA DE PASTA"<D>. Esta invenção refere-se a um agente de boroção na forma de uma pasta para a produção de camadas de boreto sobre peças metálicas, esse agente de boroção consistindo substancialmente em substâncias liberadoras de boro, substâncias ativadoras e o restante expansores refratários inertes, juntamente com água e, opcionalmente, auxiliares requeridos para a formulação da pasta. Caracteriza-se por conter, como aditivos: (a) pelo menos um composto do grupo dos carbonatos de metais alcalinos e de metais alcalino-terrosos; (b) pelo menos um composto do grupo dos nitritos de metais alcalinos e de metais alcalino-terrosos; (c) pelo menos um composto do grupo dos boratos de metais alcalinos e de metais alcalino-terrosos solúveis em água. Essa pasta de boroção não causa ataque corrosivo na superfície do componente e exibe melhor estabilidade ao armazenamento. O agente gera emissões reduzidas de flúor ou fluoreto. O agente de boroção pode ser removido de maneira simples. Camadas de boreto de fase única contendo Fe~ 2~B podem ser particularmente produzidas sobre peças feitas de materiais ferrosos.
