Abstract

<B> CONTROLE DE GANHO AUTOMáTICO PARA UM RECEPTOR E MéTODO PARA O MESMO <D> Um controle de ganho automático de receptor inclui um receptor (304, 308,312) de ganho variável com uma entrada de controle e responsivo a um sinal de controle de ganho para ajustar o nível de saída do receptor. Um controlador (114) é acoplado ao receptor de ganho variável. O controlador monitora a qualidade de um sinal recebido e o nível de energia de um sinal recebido. O controlador gera um sinal de controle para controlar o ganho do receptor de ganho variável como uma função da qualidade de sinal e do nível de energia. O controlador controla o ganho como função do nível de energia de sinal recebido e controla seletivamente o ganho como uma função da qualidade de sinal.
