Abstract

Изобретението се отнася до слънчогледови семена, съдържащо слънчогледово масло с по-високо съдържание на стеаринова киселина в сравнение с природни видове семена. То се получава чрез обработване на родителските семена с мутагенен агент за определен период от време и концентрация, достатъчна да индуцира една или повече мутации в генетична особеност, която води до биосинтеза на стеариновакиселина. Достига се до увеличаване произвеждането на стеаринова киселина, до покълване на обработените семенаи култивиране на потомствени растения от тях, до събиране и анализиране на потомствени семена, до селекция на семена, които постигат желаната генетична особеност и оптимално повтарящ се цикъл на покълване, и до култивиране и събиране на семена. За предпочитане семената съдържат масло със съдържаниена стеаринова киселина между 19.1 и 35% тегл., отнесени спрямообщото количество мастни киселини в него, и се получават чрез обработване на родителските семена с алкилиращ агент като етилметанов сулфонат във вода или с натриев азид във вода. Изобретението се отнася и до слънчогледово масло, което се получава чрез екстракция на слънчогледови семена, до метод за получаване на слънчогледови семена с повишено съдържание на стеаринова киселина в сравнение с природни типове семена, до метод за получаване на слънчогледово масло с повишено съдържание настеаринова киселина, получена от семената, и до използването намаслото за различни продукти.
