Abstract

The roller door lock comprises a pivoted plate which, in its equilibrium position, projects into the area of displacement of the roller door, preventing its movement. The plate (1) falls under its own weight to lock the door and is released by a mechanism (5) which can displace the block from its equilibrium position, freeing the door to open. - The mechanism may be manually or electrically operated, and is fitted in a box inserted in the base of the metal section (6) forming the guide track at either edge of the door (4).

On connaît déjà divers dispositifs de blocage de volets roulants et entre autres des dispositifs à clés et, l'objet de l'invention consiste à créer un dispositif de blocage particulièrement efficace, de construction aisée et de fonctionnement simple.

  
Un dispositif de blocage pour volet roulant suivant l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste en un organe basculant qui, en position d'équilibre, fait saillie dans l'aire de déplacement du volet.

  
Suivant l'invention l'organe basculant est pourvu d'un élément de commande, manuel ou électrique, destiné à mettre ledit organe hors de sa position d'équilibre en libérant le volet.

  
Egalement suivant l'invention l'organe basculant est monté à pivot dans un boîtier destiné à être inséré à la base du profilé constituant rail de guidage pour le volet roulant.

  
Pour mieux faire comprendre l'invention celleci est décrite maintenant avec plus de détails sur la base du dessin annexé, à titre d'exemple uniquement, montrant en :
Figure 1 une coupe partielle dans un châssis de volet roulant comportant un dispositif de blocage suivant l'invention, et Figure 2 une coupe par 2-2 de la figure 1.

  
Comme on le voit au dessin, le dispositif

  
de blocage consiste en un organe basculant 1 monté

  
sur un axe 2, de telle manière que, en position d'équilibre une portion 1' dudit organe 1 fait saillie dans l'aire de déplacement 3 du volet 4.

  
Ledit organe basculant 1 est relié à sa partie supérieure ou en tout autre point approprié à un organe de commande. Cet organe de commande peut être une simple cordelette 5 pouvant être soumise à une traction ou un élément à fonctionnement électrique, aimant ou autre, à alimentation par batterie.

  
L'organe basculant peut être monté à pivot sur un axe 2 dans le profilé 6 du châssis de volet servant de rail de guidage. Il peut aussi être monté dans un petit boîtier à insérer et à fixer à la base dudit profilé 6.

  
En position normale, c'est-à-dire en position d'équilibre l'organe basculant 1 fait saillie dans l'aire de déplacement 3 du volet 4. Lorsque le volet

  
4 est déployé et que sa lame creuse inférieure 4' approche de la fin de course, celle-ci rencontre la partie saillante 1' de l'organe basculant 1 et fait basculer celui-ci autour de l'axe 2 jusqu'à ce que la baie soit fermée. A ce moment l'organe 1 bascule à nouveau pour reprendre sa position d'équilibre et venir bloquer le volet empêchant sa remontée.

  
Pour relever le volet il suffit d'agir sur l'élément de commande 5, à la main ou par contact électrique suivant les cas, de manière à faire quitter à l'organe basculant 1 sa position d'équilibre et à provoquer ainsi l'effacement de la partie saillante 1' hors de la lame creuse 4'.
