Abstract

Procédé d'examen de dépistage de cellules par lequel on encapsule des cellules (génétiquement modifiées et/ou hybridomes) au sein de membranes perméables à une substance intéressante sécrétée par la cellule à dépister, mais sensiblement imperméables aux cellules. Dans un appareil à plusieurs compartiments, dont chacun contient un milieu extracapsulaire et des capsules contenant les cellules, on cultive les cellules dans les capsules. La substance intéressante, sécrétée dans la capsule, traverse la membrane et passe dans le milieu extracapsulaire que l'on examine. On répète le processus pour les capsules des compartiments positifs, jusqu'à identification d'une cellule secrétant la substance intéressante.
