Abstract

Dans des systèmes pour mesurer les trous de forage, au moyen de sondes comprenant des composants à inertie et des inclinomètres, on utilise deux gyromètres à laser annulaire pour créer dans le système des informations sur la rotation. Lorsque la sonde se déplace dans le trou, l'information provenant de l'inclinomètre est utilisée pour produire un signal synthétique de rotation au lieu d'un troisième gyro, et la rotation terrestre est utilisée en combinaison avec des signaux provenant des deux gyros à laser annulaire lorsque la sonde est arretée.
