Abstract
L'invention concerne un appareil pour déterminer l'azimut dans un trou de sonde. Un gyroscope libre 200 permet de déterminer rapidement l'azimut, des moyens 215 étant prévus pour emprisonner ses paliers d'assiette 207 au cours de la réorientation de l'axe de pivotement de ce gyroscope par un gyroscope à deux degrés de liberté 20 qui est mis en oeuvre périodiquement par un moteur 22 afin d'assurer une détermination précise de l'azimut, un accéléromètre 21 pouvant également être utilisé en conjonction avec les gyroscopes pour déterminer l'inclinaison, alors que la profondeur du puits peut être mesurée à l'aide du câble de suspension 13. Application à la cartographie de trous de sonde.
