Ce système a des avantages ;
<EMI ID=1.1>
tirage direct avec de faibles pertes de charge ;
2[deg.] brûle tout, charbons, ordures ménagères, papiers, déchets, etc. ;
<EMI ID=2.1>
<EMI ID=3.1>
ou le mijotage d'aliments ;
<EMI ID=4.1>
Il a aussi des inconvénients :
<EMI ID=5.1>
ignition ;
<EMI ID=6.1>
fractaires ;
<EMI ID=7.1>
chaque nouveau chargement.
<EMI ID=8.1>
2[deg.] rendement très élevé avec des anthracites
<EMI ID=9.1>
gée ;
<EMI ID=10.1>
1[deg.] allumage plus difficile sur de mauvaises cheminées ;
<EMI ID=11.1>
dessus de la réserve de charbon
<EMI ID=12.1>
<EMI ID=13.1>
<EMI ID=15.1>
Charcoal heater.
The present invention relates to a coal-fired heating appliance and aims to bring together in one appliance two generally incompatible combustion techniques: through the mass and in a thin layer.
In a mass combustion system the air necessary for combustion passes through the entire coal reserve through manual control.
This system has advantages;
<EMI ID = 1.1>
direct draft with low pressure drop;
2 [deg.] Burns everything, coals, household waste, papers, waste, etc. ;
<EMI ID = 2.1>
because combustion takes place in the hopper
<EMI ID = 3.1>
or simmering food;
<EMI ID = 4.1>
It also has disadvantages:
<EMI ID = 5.1>
ignition;
<EMI ID = 6.1>
fractals;
<EMI ID = 7.1>
each new load.
On the other hand, in a thin layer combustion system, the air necessary for combustion only crosses the quantity of coal on ignition on the grate and the regulation is carried out using a thermostat.
This system also has advantages:
<EMI ID = 8.1>
2 [deg.] Very high yield with anthracites
<EMI ID = 9.1>
aged;
<EMI ID = 10.1>
But it also has drawbacks:
1 [deg.] More difficult ignition on bad chimneys;
<EMI ID = 11.1>
above the coal reserve
<EMI ID = 12.1>
tion of the grade of coal used.
The object of the invention is to obtain all the advantages of the two modes of combustion described and to eliminate the drawbacks inherent in each of these two modes of combustion.
A particular object of the invention is the possibility of using different types of coal simultaneously without turning off the device and without changing the positioning of the hopper.
In general, the object of the invention is to be able to pass from combustion through the mass to combustion in a thin layer, or vice versa, during operation.
The object of the invention is obtained by producing a single hearth capable of operating in a thin layer or through the mass by simple manipulation of a very accessible lever external to the device. The coal-fired heating appliance or hearth according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises a hand-operated shutter putting the recuperator in connection with the combustion zone on the grate either directly or
through the store reserve.
According to the invention, the front wall of the magazine is provided towards its top with an opening which can be closed by the flap in its position corresponding to combustion in a thin layer, and the chamber between
the front wall of the store and the door fitted with
refractory glasses, directly above the combustion zone, is closable below the opening of the front wall of the store by the shutter in its position corresponding to combustion through the mass.
The invention is now described on the basis
attached drawings showing in:
Figure 1 a partially perspective view, and partially in transparency of a heating device produced according to the invention with the shutter
in the combustion position in thin layer, and Figure 2 a view similar to that of Figure 1, with the flap in the combustion position through the mass.
The drawings show a charcoal hearth 1 with a door fitted with refractory glasses 2 a grate or combustion surface 3, a store 4 with its front wall 5 and a departure to the recuperator 6.
The combustion air is regulated
using a thermostat 7.
The front wall 5 of the magazine 4 is provided towards its top with an opening or cutout 8. The chamber between said front wall 5 and the door 2 is closed towards its top, below said opening 8, by a plate 9 it - even provided with an opening or cutout 10.
A flap 11, operable using a lever 12 accessible from the outside of the device, is pivotally mounted so that it closes either the opening 8, or
<EMI ID = 13.1>
If the device is to operate in a thin layer, the lever 12 is put in the position shown in FIG. 1, the opening 8 is closed and the opening 10 is uncovered. Combustion air, whose regulation takes place <EMI ID = 14.1>
of coal deposited on the grid 3. The burnt gases pass between the door 2 and the wall 5 of the magazine and through the opening 10 towards the recuperator 6.
If the device is to operate through the mass, the lever 12 is put in the position shown in FIG. 2, the opening 10 is closed and the opening 8 is uncovered. Combustion air, including regulation
<EMI ID = 15.1>
the coal deposited on the grid 3 as well as the reserve of coal in the magazine 4. The burnt gases pass through the opening 8 and then towards the recuperator 6.
Thanks to the invention there is provided a single hearth operating according to two combustion techniques normally incompatible with the possibility of obtaining in the two techniques high yields.
