<EMI ID=2.1>
<EMI ID=3.1>

: Device for assembling panels for
acoustic cabin Panel assembly device for cabin <EMI ID = 1.1>
The present invention relates to an assembly system for anti-noise elements used to constitute an acoustic box.
An acoustic box is used to form a noise enclosure to reduce noise at the source
emitted by a noisy machine. It is made up of acoustic insulation panels assembled to form the partitions and the ceiling of the noise barrier.
There is an assembly system in which the jointing between the panels is done using
joint profiles fixed to the vertical edges of the panels by means of self-tapping screws which are housed in assembly rings. Although providing a certain ease of dismantling which allows the easy movement of an acoustic box thus produced, this system is however still relatively tedious in that it requires the adjustment of the self-tapping screws in the assembly crowns, this which requires relatively expert manpower on site if we know that the joining profiles, like the panels, have
<EMI ID = 2.1>
a significant number of screws.
The invention relates to a modular assembly system for the elements which must constitute an acoustic box, which eliminates the drawbacks mentioned above and which allows easy and rapid assembly without bolting or welding on site.
According to the invention, at least one horizontal rail made up of a metal profile having a longitudinal rib intended to cooperate with
a horizontal groove in a partition panel,
carries at desired intervals supports for vertical uprights which are formed
metal profiles formed to cooperate by simple interlocking with said supports. The uprights are shaped on two opposite longitudinal sides with means for cooperating with a vertical groove of a partition panel, the opposite vertical lateral faces being provided with a longitudinal seal. Each upright advantageously consists of two metal profiles of omega section between the wings of which a body is clamped
of insulating material and each stringer is advantageously also made from a metal section of omega section.
The advantages of the assembly system according to the invention are as follows:
1. high acoustic tightness thanks to the fact that all the joints are located in the same
plan,
2. great ease and rapidity of assembly and disassembly thanks to the absence of any bolting or welding,
3. high production rationalization thanks to the possible use of the same profile for the assembly elements.
The invention is set out in the following with reference to the attached drawings, in which:
Figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of the assembly system according to the invention; Figure 2 is a horizontal sectional view showing the fitting of an upright on a support of a heddle; Figure 3 is a vertical sectional view of an upright positioned on a heddle.
In Figure 1 the reference 1 designates a metal rail fixed to an insulating support 2 resting
On the ground. The arm 1 consists of a metal section of omega section. This rail carries, at desired intervals, a pair of 3 A / B studs welded vertically on the wings of the profile 1. Both
<EMI ID = 3.1>
vis-à-vis each other and they are for example advantageously made of a metal profile
of section U. Each pair of studs 3 forms a
support for an amount 4.
The upright 4 (Figure 2) consists of two metal sections of omega section 5 and 6 between which
an insulating body 7 is tightened, the tightening being ensured by bolts 8. The insulating body 7 is shorter
that the two sections 5 and 6 which protrude at their
two ends. The free vertical sections of the
insulating body 7 are each lined with a longitudinal joint 9.
Each upright 4 fits coaxially by simple fitting onto a support 3 (FIG. 3), a cushion of insulating material 11 fixed on the top of the heddle 1 serving as support for the insulating body 7 of the upright. In the example illustrated, the uprights 4 cover the tenons constituting the supports 3, but their end can
just as well fit into the cavity of each support.
At its upper end, each upright adapts similarly to a support identical to or similar to the supports 3, fixed to a high rail made up like the low rail 1.
The low and high beams as well as the uprights fixed on the beams are used to assemble and joint the soundproof partition panels 10. These are formed
along their lower and upper edges, with
a horizontal groove 12 (FIG. 1) intended to fit respectively on the longitudinal rib of the bottom and top rails. On their vertical edges,
the partition panels are formed with a vertical groove 13 intended to fit around the wings
profiles of the uprights 4 (Figure 2) with the interposition of blocks of insulating material 14, 15. The longitudinal seals 9 on the sides of each upright 4 provide acoustic sealing in the
median plane.
Thanks to this assembly device, an acoustic box can be assembled and disassembled very quickly. For
mounting we proceed as follows. The base rail 1 carrying the supports 3 being placed on the ground,
the base of an upright 4 is adapted on or in a support 3. The base of the insulating body 7 comes to rest on the insulating blocks 14 and 15 and on a strip of insulating material
16 attached to the top of the arm 1.
We then put a soundproof panel 10 in place by
simple interlocking on the longitudinal rib of the bottom rail 1 and against the upright 4, then another upright 4 is placed against the opposite longitudinal edge of the panel 10 and on another support 3. This is done step by step around the entire periphery of the box to be erected. The structure ends with the placement of a high rail on top of the panels and uprights and the soundproof ceiling panels are placed.
For disassembly we proceed in the reverse manner with just as much ease and speed since there is no loosening of bolts to perform.
