- la figure 1 est une vue en élévation d'un dispositif de vaporisage suivant l'invention ;

<EMI ID=9.1>
<EMI ID=10.1>

Such a device can be advantageously adapted to a pimples or needles table for the preparation for cutting knitted panels as described in Belgian patent No 849.666 filed on December 21
1976 in the name of the Applicant.
Currently each knitting panel must be moved to a spraying machine before cutting.
important.
The purpose of this. invention is to provide a spray device of simple use allowing a saving of time and a significant saving of manpower.
The device is essentially distinguished in that it is composed of a structure adaptable to a quilting table comprising a horizontally displaceable carriage provided with a vaporizing plate which can move vertically.
The invention will be described below with the aid of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawings in which.
- Figure 1 is an elevational view of a spray device according to the invention;
- Figure'2 is a diagram showing the pneumatic circuit for controlling and regulating the device. ,
In Figure 1 there is shown a part of a quilting table 10 whose shelf 11 has been extended towards the rear of the table.
On this extension is arranged in accordance with the invention, a carriage 20 carrying a vaporization plate 30.
The carriage 20 is fitted with casters 21 and can be moved horizontally by one. cylinder 22 which is connected to the carriage by a lug 23 and which

<EMI ID = 4.1>
The plate 30 is held by a jack 32 which is mounted on the upper crosspiece 25 of the carriage and which is capable of moving the plate in the vertical direction.
During its movement, the plate 30 is kept in a parallel position with the tablet
<EMI ID = 5.1>
nozzles 33 integral with the crosspiece 25.
By the action of the jack 22, the carriage 20

<EMI ID = 7.1>
ment of the carriage 20 are adjustable as will emerge from the circuit illustrated in FIG. 2. When the carriage 20 is correctly positioned on the panel 12 the jack 32 actuates the descent of the plate 30 which is provided in a manner known per se with a pipe steam supply (not shown) and a hose causing vacuum suction (not shown).
The jacks 22 and 32 can be actuated pneumatically and FIG. 2 shows an example of the embodiment of a pneumatic control and regulation diagram comprising the following elements:
- 40, 41: two pneumatic three-way control valves two normally closed positions, actuated by, single-acting push buttons and return by mechanical spring. The buttons are used to start the device and must be held simultaneously until the final positioning of the plate 30, this for reasons of control security. - 42: valve providing the "AND" function and opening only if there is pressure at both inputs
- 43: a pneumatic control valve with three ways, two positions, normally closed, actuated by push-button, single effect, return by mechanical spring.
This valve, which can be operated in case
stop switch, cuts the steam, the vacuum and returns the plate to its starting position
- 44: valve identical to 43 but actuated by an end-of-travel stop for cylinder 22 (carriage movement)
- 45: valve identical to 43 but actuated by an end of travel stop of the jack 32 (movement of the plate)
- 46: valve identical to 43 but actuated by a timer which regulates the time of admission of steam to the tray 30
- 47: valve identical to 43 but actuated by a timer which regulates the opening time of the vacuum hose
- 48: valve identical to 43 but actuated by a timer which regulates the rest time after closing the steam valve
- 49: valve ensuring the "OR" function and selects <EMI ID = 8.1>

<EMI ID = 9.1>
three-way matic, two 'normally open, pneumatically actuated single acting positions, return by mechanical spring and ensure switching between the circuits of the different elements
- 54: pneumatic control valve with four ways, two positions, normally open, pneumatically actuated, simple action, return by mechanical spring and ensuring the switching between the cylinders supply circuits
22 and 32
- 55 and 56: are pneumatic control valves with five channels, four positions, normally closed, pneumatically actuated with double action, return by mechanical springs and supply the cylinders 22 and 32 respectively
- 57: an air flow control valve regulating the speed of movement of cylinders 22 and 32 with silencer
- 58:
pneumatic single-acting valve, return by mechanical spring, allowing the admission of steam into the tray 30
- 59: valve identical to 58 but allows the admission of vacuum to the plate 30
- 60: isolation valve used to isolate the pneumatic network control circuit
- 61: pressure gauge pressure gauge of the control circuit
- 62: circuit lubricator for cylinders
22 and 32
- 63: pressure reducer filter which allows the regulation of the pressure and ensures the filtration of the air.
The circuit as shown in the figure
2 therefore provides pneumatic control by the following operation: by the simultaneous action on the
two control buttons 40, 41, the air pressure,
<EMI ID = 10.1>
by valves 42 and 49 to activate valve 54.
The air pressure arriving through the pipe 64 at the
valve 54 is then directed via valve 53 to the control valve 55 of the jack 22. The piston of the jack is moved and causes the carriage 20 to advance until the latter triggers the end stop
stroke connected to valve 44.
The pressure then arrives via the pipe 65 closes the valve 53 and arrives via the valves 42 and 52 to the jack. 32. The piston of the jack is moved and causes the descent of the plate 30 towards. mesh panels.
The end of travel stop 45 causes the valve 52 to close (stop of the plate) and triggers the timer of the steam inlet valve 46. The steam enters the plate through the valve 58.
When the timer closes valve 46,
the steam closing valve 48. is activated and the timer setting the rest time is started.
After the resting time has elapsed, the valve 48 activates the vacuum intake timer via the valve 47. The vacuum stops by closing the valve 47 also controls the return of the plate
30 towards its starting position and the backward movement of the carriage 20.
Of course various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art to the device.
which has just been described by way of nonlimiting example without departing from the scope of the invention.
