<EMI ID=3.1>
<EMI ID=4.1>
<EMI ID=5.1>
<EMI ID=6.1>
<EMI ID=7.1>

<EMI ID=10.1>
<EMI ID=11.1>
<EMI ID=12.1>
<EMI ID=13.1>

This main patent describes a support bracket for a grill, for cooking food over a wood fire or the like, which comprises
<EMI ID = 3.1>
a grill support frame, essentially perpendicular to the upright and arranged in an essentially horizontal plane on a
actuating means, movable in the longitudinal direction of the upright, and actuating means intended to ensure the displacement of the frame in the longitudinal direction of the upright, comprising a pinion pivotally mounted in a stirrup, and a rack sliding in the caliper and whose teeth cooperate with those of the pinion.
Practice has shown that improvements can usefully be made to the invention, in particular as regards the actuation means *
Indeed, the embodiment illustrated and described in Figure 1 of the main patent and, to a lesser extent, the embodiment of Figure 2 can in the event of a heavy load of the support frame have the disadvantage of jamming the
actuating means, preventing the operation of the support frame. In
<EMI ID = 4.1>
torque exerted by the load of food on the frame, the stirrup tends to adopt an oblique position relative to the rack, in which it gets stuck. When the pinion is driven
in rotation in order to move the frame in the upward direction,
the torque exerted by the pinion combats the jamming torque, so that the climb is possible. On the other hand, in the direction of descent, the torque exerted on the pinion has the same direction as the jamming torque, to which it is added. This can lead to blockage of the actuating means.
On the other hand, the forces resulting from the wedge torque
<EMI ID = 5.1>
more important than the support points of the stirrup on the rack are closer together.
The present improvement therefore aims to remedy these drawbacks, on the one hand by subtracting the binding
<EMI ID = 6.1>
on the other hand, by reducing the intensity of the forces resulting from this couple. ; .
These aims are achieved by providing in a zone adjacent to the toothed part of the rack, a support path, cooperating with a corresponding support member arranged on the caliper-pinion assembly in order to provide the caliper with a first point of support on the rack, and extending the stirrup in its
<EMI ID = 7.1>
ensuring a second point of support of the stirrup on the rack, at a sufficient distance from the first to avoid jamming, the pinion cooperating with the rack to ensure the movements of the stirrup relative to the rack while a pawl allows the pinion lock.
The invention will be better understood by referring to the description at the same time as to the appended drawing, which represents, by way of example only, two preferred embodiments of the invention, and in which:
- Figure 1 is a perspective view of a bracket - <EMI ID = 8.1>
- Figure 2 is a perspective view of this potencesupport adapted to a foot intended to be arranged outside the home.
According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1,
<EMI ID = 9.1>
chenet. It comprises a frame 3 'provided with a fixing element 4' on a support 22. The support 22 is received at the end of an arm 23 extending a stirrup 7 ', sliding along an upright 8'. The upright 8 'is secured, for example by screwing the foot in the shape of a chenet 2.
The movements of the stirrup 7 'along the upright 8' are ensured by the cooperation of a pinion 9 with a rack 24 formed over part of the width of said upright 8 '.
<EMI ID = 10.1>
both of the width of the upright 8 ', in the form of a support track
25 with which a roller 26 cooperates, constituting a support member, integral with the pinion 9, and thus with the stirrup 7 '. The control of the pinion 16 of the pinion has not been shown.
This embodiment avoids jamming of the stirrup 7 'on the upright 8'. Indeed, the teeth of the pinion 9
<EMI ID = 11.1>
of the roller 26 with the support path 25, and the forces tending to cause jamming are reduced by increasing the distance between the support point, respectively of the roller 26 and the arm 23 on the upright 8 '. This embodiment therefore makes it necessary to have a blocking member for the stirrup on the
<EMI ID = 12.1>
shape of a locking pawl 27.
In this embodiment, the frame 3 'is shaped
<EMI ID = 13.1>
support frame 28 of skewers 29. The longitudinal dimensions of the frame 3 ′ are sufficient for the cooking device to slide along said frame from the cooking area to a "working" area, adjacent to the cooking area.
A plate 21 'is pivotally mounted on the foot 2 to come to be placed under the frame 3', in the working area, and collect the juice that can flow from the food in this area.
According to the invention, a particularly advantageous skewer support frame 28 comprises two end walls, respectively rear 30 and front 30 ′, notched, and two side walls 31, 31 ′ folded back to form support wings. The
<EMI ID = 14.1>
skewer. This rim makes it possible to retain the head of the skewers in a vertical position and in a horizontal position without the skewers being driven in rotation by a possible imbalance in the food they carry.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the skewer support chassis is integral
<EMI ID = 15.1>
<EMI ID = 16.1>
without the risk of getting burned on the frame.
Finally, taking into account the weight of food likely to be supported by the frame, the andirons constituting foot 2 will advantageously be connected to a second andirons by a coupling bar
34, making it impossible to overturn the support bracket.
The embodiment shown in Figure 2 is parti-
<EMI ID = 17.1> <EMI ID = 18.1>
median of a spacer 35.
Given the decentralization of the upright 8 ′ with respect to the base 2, the frame 3 ′, as well as the plate 21 ′ are mounted on the support 22, by means of a counterweight 36.
In this way, a food cooking device, such as for example a grill 37, can be advanced into the cooking zone loaded with a large weight of food without the risk of tilting the support bracket.
It should be emphasized that the elongated embodiment of the frame 3 'in Figures 1 and 2 would allow the frame to be rigidly mounted on the bracket 7'. However, the mounting of the frame in a pivoting manner on the stirrup facilitates in certain cases the access to food carried by the frame.
Also, although the means intended to remove the teeth of the pinion from the action of the wedging torque has been shown in the form of a roller forming a body with the pinion,
it is obvious that it can take another form, for example in the form of a stop integral with the stirrup and sliding on the support track 25.
The invention has been described and illustrated simply by way of nonlimiting example and it goes without saying that many
