"Porte double isotherme"
On voit

<EMI ID=3.1>
<EMI ID=5.1>

The present invention relates to an isothermal double door, particularly for cold rooms of slaughterhouses.
The isothermal double doors currently used have the drawback of requiring several maneuvers for their opening. However, users have a habit of forcing doors without doing all
planned maneuvers, which causes damage to
the screed or tiling of the floor, damage to the leaf rebates of the sashes and the risk of moisture infiltration.
The object of the invention is to remedy these drawbacks and for this purpose an isothermal double door in accordance with
to the invention is characterized in that the mullion leaves of the two leaves joining mutton and gueule-deloup, the convex spinning of one of the leaves is slightly offset rearward in the closed position, relative to the concave spinning corresponding to the other leaf, and in that the contact between the two threads is made towards their bases, on either side of the median plane of the door.
According to the invention, the contact between the two threads of the leaves is made on the side opposite to the opening by means of a seal protruding from the end of the convex thread. The concave thread of one of the leaves is extended at its end, on the side opposite the opening, by a recess intended to allow the opening of the leaves and more particularly the movement of the seal.
The invention is now described in more detail on the basis of the accompanying drawings, by way of example only, showing by:
Figure 1 a front view of an isothermal double door produced according to the invention; Figure 2 a vertical section through the middle of the door of Figure 1; Figures 3 to 6 respectively plus sections <EMI ID = 1.1>
The isothermal door which is the subject of the invention is a door with two leaves 1, 2 mounted in a fixed frame 3 which, as this is a slaughterhouse cold room door, comprises a transom 4 through ppr the rail 5 of an automatic chain and by its support beam 6.
The junction of the two leaves 1, 2 is done according to the system called mutton and snapdragon. We see
(Figure 3) that the left wing has at the junction location over its entire height a concave molding or spinning 7, called sheep, and the right wing a convex molding or spinning 8, called snapdragon. The concave and convex threads 7, 8 are produced in a corresponding manner but the convex thread 8 is slightly offset towards the rear. As a result, contact between the two threads does not take place all around their periphery. When closing, the end part 7 ', on the opening side, of the concave spinning 7 comes into contact with the corresponding end 8' of the convex spinning 8, while a gap remains, on the closing side, between the ends 7 " , 8 "of the concave 7 and convex 8 threads.

of the leaf 2 carries a finger-shaped seal 9
<EMI ID = 3.1>
come into contact, in the closed position, with the end 7 "of the concave strip of the leaf 1. The seal 9 is then compressed.
The door is sealed at the junction of the two leaves, on the opening side, by a bead 10
<EMI ID = 4.1> concave spinning, and compressed when closing by the
corresponding face 2 'of the leaf 2.
On the closing side, the concave thread 7 is extended by a face 1 "parallel to the plane of the door. This face 1" is hollowed out at 11 to allow the opening or pivoting of the leaves. This recess 11 allows the movement of the seal 9 during this pivoting.
The assembly of the leaves 1 and 2 on the fixed frame 3 is carried out at the top and laterally with the insertion of two sealing beads 10 (Figures 4 and 5) on the rabbets.
The leaves are mounted on known sliding hinges, in such a way that they rise when opening. This makes it possible to apply to the ground when closing the sealing tabs 12 provided in and at the base of the leaves (FIG. 6).
<EMI ID = 5.1>
insulators, placed in two layers, with thwarted joints and glued together. On both sides of the insulation in contact with marine or other panels, forming the
fronts of the door, an anti-vapor screen is applied to prevent any ingress of humidity.
The edges of the leaves are provided with finishing angles 13.
The two leaves being held together
up and down by the snap system, a single powerful lock 14, located at the top of the door and actuated by rod 15 and handle 16, locks the door. The absence of a lock at the base of the door eliminates the possibility of damage to the screed or tiling <EMI ID = 6.1>
and eliminates all risks of moisture infiltration, which would harm the anhydrous state of the insulation.
A very sudden opening or closing of the
The door cannot under any circumstances destroy the locking system, damage the connecting threads of the two openings, or tear off the seals.
The cremone lock (capital in its
gache) is set to resist up to a certain force
of thrust applied to the door from the inside, that is to say that the striker is shaped to let the marquee come out automatically for a higher pushing force. A greater thrust caused, for example, by the untimely advancement of a loaded automatic chain and whose
the force exerted on the door would exceed more or less 100 kg, triggers the automatic opening of the locking system
(capital out of the keeper) and prevents forcing or damaging said door.
Thanks to the embodiment according to the invention, for
a reasonable cost price, the risk of deformation of
the door is avoided and its tightness is ensured.
Of course, it would not be departing from the scope of the invention to provide the insulated double door described above and shown in the accompanying drawings with one or the other purely constructive modification.
