<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
voisins.

"Improvements to prefabricated buildings"
The present invention relates to prefabricated constructions and relates more particularly to the production of columns in permanent formwork with connection of panels for such constructions.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
An object of the invention consists in the fixing of the construction panels and takes place in that the panels are mounted on a permanent frame, intended for the production of columns and constituted by battens or the like and in that the connection between two neighboring panels is made by joint at the location of the formwork.
Another object of the invention consists in that the panels themselves form one of the walls of the formwork and in that the joint is formed by a metal profile of T-section, the lower branch of which is provided with folded cutouts for cling to the concrete in the formwork.
Another object of the invention consists in producing a shuttering, on the internal faces of the walls of which are fixed anchoring pieces, the section of which widens towards the interior to hang onto the concrete. in the formwork, and to use as a joint between the panels coming to be fixed on the said parts a mastic coating having an I-section.
To better understand the invention, it is now described by way of example only, on the basis of the accompanying drawing, which can be seen in
Figure 1 a cross section through a column, its formwork and associated panels showing an embodiment of the invention, and
Figures 2 and 3 respectively a side view and a rear elevational view of a seal used in the embodiment of FIG. 1.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Figure 4 a section similar to that of Figure 1 showing another embodiment of the invention.
As can be seen in the drawing in figure 1, two panels 1,2, as sold as pre-manufactured products, are stuck together and connected to each other by a joint 3 and fixed by screws 4 ohaoun on the edge of a batten respectively 5,6, forming aveo a third batten 7 a lost formwork.
The seal 3 is made of aluminum and has a T-section, the lower arm of which is provided with cut tabs 8, folded respectively on one side and on the other side.
In the formwork thus produced, with the three battens 5, 6, 7 and the joined ends of the panels 1, 2, reinforcing bars 9 are placed and concrete is poured. Thanks to its cut and folded legs hooking into the concrete, the joint 3 forms an anchor and allows excellent rigidity of the assembly.
Instead of using the ends of the panels uumme wall formwork, it is still provided cuvant the invention to achieve a lost formwork consisting of four battens 15,16, 17 and 18 (Figure 2) and inside which are fixed longitudi- nal pieces 19 of trapezoidal section (as in the drawing) or the like flaring inwardly to form anorage in the concrete. These anchoring pieces 19 are arranged in the center of the battens to serve for fixing the joined ends of the two panels

neighbors. In the drawing, each batten has been shown with an anchoring piece 19, but in practice, depending on the location of the column, only two or three trapezoidal pieces 19 will be used.
In this embodiment, the gasket 13 serving for the connection of the panels, 11, 12 is constituted by a mastic coating and has a section in I reopening the edges of the panels on both sides. The ends of the panels 11,12 @ on% meat by screws 14 through the battens 15 in the corresponding anchoring piece 19. Act, the concrete is poured into the formwork before placing the panels. Excellent rigidity of the assembly is also obtained in this embodiment by the anchoring parts to which the panels are fixed.
For the formwork, you can use wood or P.V.O.
Of course, one or the other constructive modification falling within the scope of the following claims would not be departed from the scope of the invention to bait the embodiments described above and shown in the drawing.
