<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>
Combination of tillage implements intended to be mounted on the three-point hitch of a tractor.
The present invention relates to a combination of tillage implements for mounting at the free ends of the three-point linkage of a tractor and which has an anterior main implement and one or more rear lump rollers mounted on the chassis of the tractor. main instrument and adjustable in height relative to it.
In agriculture, a tillage implement is known in which the frame of a harrow with flexible tines carries
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
a rear crumbling roller rolling on the ground, mounted rigidly but adjustable in height at will relative to the harrow frame. However, the height adjustment is complicated because it is necessary to manually loosen a number of screws and then slide the crumpling roller and the frame together in the height direction, then retighten them. screw. In some cases it is necessary. for that two people. If after the adjustment a correction is still necessary, it is necessary to carry out an adjustment again, possibly in the field and after having stopped work.
The object of the invention is above all to remedy this drawback and to provide a construction that is simple and easy to handle, and it essentially resides in the fact that the crumbling roller (s) are mounted on a lever frame which can pivot around it. a transverse axis @orisontal on the frame of the main instrument and .que. the lever frame is supported in relation to the front three point support .. for height adjustment, by an adjustable length compression bar which attaches to it and protrudes from the support so that 'it reaches the seat of the towing vehicle and can be maneuvered from there.
Preferably, the lump breaker roller (s) are rigidly mounted on the adjustable lever frame so that the working depth of the main implement is determined by adjusting the height of the lump breaker (s), without the main implement. leans himself on the ground. In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the push bar of adjustable length has a threaded rod with automatic locking.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
tick provided with a crank disposed on the three-point support in front of the front bearing of the rod or with a corresponding control element arranged in front of the bearing of the rod.
Thus, the problem of giving the main instrument a regular and suitable working depth is solved in the simplest way practically and by simple means. There is no need for a special coupling between the main instrument and the lump breaker. In addition, complicated height adjustment is avoided before the instrument combination is put into service and, at ... if, interrupting work for this adjustment as is the case when the driver has to leaving your seat to do it. The adjustment can be done conveniently from the driver's seat.
It can even be operated while working or while walking, and the driver can constantly check whether the setting gives the most advantageous working conditions. You can make a correction at any time. possible ... Thanks to the crank or the control element corresponding to the reduction of the levers that can be obtained and to the proximity of the seat, the driver can make an adjustment practically without effort and without neglecting his other tasks .
For this adjustment, two working conditions are taken into account mainly one of the working modes is adopted when using a main instrument which sinks by itself into the ground by the working pressure and which is rigidly connected to its frame in height direction. Instruments of this kind are, in particular, a tine harrow
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
hoses, a cultivator or a rotary hoe. In this case, the main instrument and the lump breaker form a rigid unit. Thanks to the height adjustment device, the exact difference in height between the plane where the lump breaker touches the ground and the position of the main implement, and therefore the working depth of the latter, is determined.
The second case which comes into play, in particular for normal harrows, is where the main implement is suspended from the frame in a movable manner, for example by means of chains, while the Moulder roller is rigidly connected to the frame in height. By adjusting the height of the crumbling roller relative to the chas- @is of the main instrument, it is possible that the weight of the frame rests in a different way on the crumbling roller or on the main instrument.
If the lump roller is raised above a fixed height relative to the frame, the weight of the frame rests only on the main aorta instrument as this is pushed against the ground with great pressure. When the relative position of the lump breaker is lower, the weight of the chassis may rest partly on the main implement and partially on the lump breaker and depending on the setting, the main load may be applied more or less to one. or to the other instrument.
If the lump breaker is adjusted even lower relative to the frame so that the weight of the frame rests exclusively on the lump breaker while the main implement is freely movable to the frame eg by means of chains, the 'main instrument
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
works only under the effect of its own weight.
Of course, instead of a lump breaker, several can also be provided side by side or one behind the other, as well as several main instruments can be suitably combined within the scope of the invention. . The emitter rollers can be of any construction as long as they play the role of a lump breaker or a corresponding role
Further details of the invention appear in the following description which relates to examples represented by the drawings in which:.
FIG. 1 shows in side elevation a combination of instruments according to the invention comprising a harrow with flexible tines and a rear lump breaker; FIG. 2 is a plan corresponding to FIG. 1; Figure 3 shows in side elevation a combination of instruments comprising a rotary cultivator and a rear lump breaker; and FIG. 4 shows in side elevation a combination of instruments comprising a normal harrow and a rear lump breaker roller.
In the embodiments of Figures 1 to 3, the various tools of the main instrument A1, A2 are rigidly fixed to the instrument frame 1 and rigidly supported in the direction of height. In the case of Figures 1 and 2, this. are the different tines of an A1 flexible tine harrow while in the case of figure 3 A2 rotary cultivators are mounted in the bearings

rigidly fixed to the frame.
At the rear end of the frame 1 is articulated by articulation pivots 2, 2 'and 2 "(not shown), a lever frame 3 - which carries in the bearings 4, 4' the lump breaker or rollers 5 .

J.utomat: i.quc 10 ... This .... this is provided with a crank 11 and is shown in such a way as to be able to pivot in a mount 13 with a stem bearing - able to pivot in a vertical plane around an articulation pivot 12, at the upper end of the mounting bracket 14 rigidly connected to the frame 1. The pivot point 12 is above the articulation point where the upper link 15 of the linkage three-point linkage of the tractor is connected to the support 14. The lower links of the three-point linkage are designated 16.
By virtue of this arrangement, the crank 11 is located in front of the mount 13 or the front rod bearing, in the region of the tractor seat so that the tractor driver can conveniently maneuver it. By turning the rod 10, the rod formed by the compression tube 8 and 1a is shortened or lengthened. threaded rod 10 between the joints 12 ot 7 and thus the lump breaker is raised or lowered relative to the main instrument, that is to say
