of the silo and over the entire height of it. Along this upright, a series of articulated paddles is provided, each of which is capable of actuating an electrical contact when it emerges from the material after the latter has been withdrawn from the base of the silo. These devices all have the serious drawback of being extremely bulky. Their dismantling or their installation on the silo requires arduous and delicate operations.
In addition, it is difficult to ship such a device as a spare part because, if it is intended to equip a very high silo, about fifteen meters for example, the length of the upright must be the same. magnitude.
The main object of the invention is to provide an indicator device of the aforementioned type, the transport of which can be carried out in a small space, while aa mine in place only gives rise to simple maneuvers and no danger.
An indicating device according to the invention mainly comprises a flexible cable extending vertically over the entire height of the tank and at the lower part of which a tensioning weight is placed, while pallets are mounted in articulation on supports distributed along cable, the upper end of which is suspended from the top of the same tank.
It is understood that in order to remove such an indicator device, it suffices to extract the flexible cable through the opening (s) provided at the top of the reservoir. The set can be transported easily after winding the cable on it - = 8 = 9. Finally, it can be seen that the replacement of such a device can be carried out without it being necessary to first empty the tank.

Fig. 2 is a partial view on a large scale showing the detail of the upper part of the cable. Fig. 3 is a partial cross-sectional view along III-III (Fig. 2) on an even larger scale.

There is shown in FIG. 1 to 4, an indicating device according to the invention intended to equip a silo 1 of the type used on construction sites for storing cement, sand, various aggregates or any other known powder or granular material .
On modern construction sites, the tendency is to use high capacity silos 1, the height of which is commonly fifteen to twenty meters.
The indicating device according to the invention mainly comprises a flexible cable 2, the upper end of which is suspended by a stirrup 3 from the edges of an opening 4, provided at the top of the silo 1 to allow its filling. Stirrup
3 is produced for example according to a V-shaped profile, the ends of which are folded down so as to form hooks 3a covering the aforementioned edges of the opening 4.
The cable 2 is provided at its lower end with a weight 5 which keeps it under tension when suspended
