ceramic washbasin comprising. 4 * 8 means of concealing the water connections and the weir,
The object of the invention is a washbasin made of ceramic material comprising means for concealing the water connections * and the weir.
The main object of the invention is to achieve a particular and characteristic dissi ... mulation of the water connections and the overflow of a washbasin, combining an excellent technical solution and important aesthetic effects, while the manufacture of the hygienic appliance remains normal.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The ceramic washbasin according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it comprises, in addition to the normal bowl, an external basin which surrounds the bowl itself, creating an appropriate space and which also develops on this' .. and at the rear of the basin, so that it can conceal the water connections and the weir, the water inlet and outlet pipes * passing through a suitable rear opening in the The Pelvis.
The sink can be made in one piece, in the sense that the bowl and the basin constitute a single element) and it can also be made in two or more parts, so that one can for example apply and weld the basin 4 appropriate fasteners provided on the bowl.
These characteristics of the invention, as well as others, are explained by the following description which refers to the appended drawing in which: fig.l shows, seen from above, the washbasin in question, without the hydraulic connections and the weir . fig.2 is a section through the sink of fig.l along the line X-X.
Fig. 3, finally, shows a side perspective of the sink.
According to the drawing, the washbasin A made of ceramic material consists of a normal bowl B intended to collect the incoming water, and by the basin C disposed outside the bowl, the latter therefore being surrounded by the basin. The presence of the basin C creates the space D which will take a certain configuration according to the shape of the basin and of the basin. The latter, by the upper band * 10 slightly concave, develops all along the lateral perimeter of the bowl B, and therefore also arrives in the posterior zone of the bowl, until reaching the park through the portions 12! 14 which supports the sink.
At the bottom of the strip 10, the basin C has a wall 16 in the form of a convex dome, the apex 18 of which is situated at a relatively large distance d from the level where the evacuation hole opens.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
cuation 20. Preferably, the distance d is equal to half the height of the sink A.
Behind, section C has a vertical opening F of suitable width and height, through which the inlet and outlet pipes of the sink pass, the first opening into the openings 22 and the second into the hole 20.
As can be seen in the embodiment shown, the basin C is made in one piece with the bowl B, but in other cases it could constitute a separate element, and therefore the two parts. B and C could be made separately and then fitted together, and also connected by soldering or other means.
In view of the above, the advantages of the sink shown are obvious, because the presence of the basin C makes it possible to perfectly hide, as can be seen in fig. 3, the water inlet and outlet connections which are therefore hidden from view. This concealment solution gives the device an elegant and conical line, thus meeting technical and aesthetic requirements.
