Abstract

The junction for waste-pipes is moulded out of thermoplastics sheet and includes integral sections for securing the junction about the pipe ends. The junction consists of a single sheet formed longitudinally into two symmetrical shells (A,B) connected together by a zone (8) which acts as a hinge. Each shell (A,B) incorporates either tabs (12) or cut-outs (13) about its perimeter which co-operate to fasten the two shells together. The two shells (A,B) may be moulded independently from separate thermoplastics sheets.

Description
