This invention relates to a sewing machine with a drive motor and vibration damping devices. In sewing machines with ta-

valiant by means of these machines, constitutes a serious inconvenience for the neighborhood, especially when these workshops are established in buildings with multiple floors.
In order to avoid these disturbances, rubber interlayer layers have already been used on which the frame of the sewing machine for example is placed. However, as the parts or the upper limbs of the worker at work of such a sewing machine rest on the table top, these harmful vibrations from the table top are also transmitted to the worker, which causes physical fatigue in the latter and gives rise to phenomena of overwhelm.
In order to avoid these defects of known devices of this kind, it is proposed according to the invention to form an integral assembly by means of the sewing machine, the control motor and an absorption box placed between
engine and machine. Thanks to this constructive whole, the noises and the own vibrations coming from the machine and the drive motor at different rotational speeds are absorbed without resonance.
According to an exemplary embodiment of the invention, this integral assembly can be carried by a transportable frame composed of three adjustable column sections together and of a base, the column section located at the upper part being capable of tilt and being connected to sleepers to which
the absorption box is fixed for example at three points with intercalation
sound-absorbing pads or cushions.
On these sleepers, one can mount an easily interchangeable work table top, which has a notch with the aid of which it surrounds with a certain interval an absorption box also fixed to the sleepers. The sewing machine base can be connected to the attendant's seat via an adjustable rod.
