<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
REVENDICATIONS.

The present invention relates to a cabinet with thermal oonnection for a heating installation.
It is known that furniture of this type have the drawback of not being able to offer the user the possibility of direct and easy adjustment of the ambient heat. In addition, in these same pieces of furniture, there is no means capable of allowing a certain humidification of the circulating air.
The drawbacks in question are eliminated by the furniture according to the intention, which consists of a prefabricated casing to be able to adapt exactly to the dimensions of the heating element and is provided with an internal screen for adjusting the heating element. opening of the outlet of the circulating air, this screen being able to be angularly deflected and able to be controlled from the outside thanks to the rotation of a handle, while inside the cabinet is provided a bowl capable of being supplied with water by a spout flared outwards, a plate of absorbent and rot-proof material being immersed in the bowl.
The invention will be better understood from the following description of an embodiment of the piece of furniture in question, this description being given with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a view of the exterior of the cabinet according to the present invention.
Figure 2 is a vertical section of the assembled complex.
Figure 3 is a vertical section, on an enlarged scale, of the upper part of the aforesaid cabinet.
Referring to these figures, reference 1 indicates the outer casing of the cabinet, which is joined to the heating element 2 (made up of finned tubes) and is provided with a mouth, inlet 3 and an outlet 4 for the air in transit, the mouth 4 being closed by a grid G inclined 30 towards the interior of the cabinet.
The outlet mouth 4 can be adjusted, as regards its opening, by an internal screen 5 which can deflect around a hinge 6 against the action of a return spring 7.
The lower end 8 of the screen 5 is joined to the end of a metal wire 9 which passes around the pulley 10 to arrive at being fixed by its other end to a pin 11 which can be actuated from the outside thanks to to a lever 12. By 13 denotes a metal bowl resting on a bracket 14 fixed to the casing, a bowl of which a spout 15 projects outside, so that this bowl can be easily filled.
In the bowl 13 is introduced a plate of absorbent and rot-proof any substance 16, for example an asbestos-plate.
From what is said above, it is easy to see that, besides the advantage of having a cabinet exactly proportioned to the heating element so as to achieve the maximum efficiency of the assembly, it is possible the user can directly regulate the ambient temperature by actuating the handle 12 thanks to which the air outlet 4 is more or less throttled and, as a result, the draft of the chimney is varied.
By rotating the fist 12 in one direction, the screen 5 will be forced to move closer, against the action of the spring 7, to the outlet mouth 4, while by turning this handle in the opposite direction , the return spring will determine the distance of the screen away from the opening 4 by further increasing the draft.
The whole is arranged so that, when the screen 5 is completely open and that the handle 12 continues to rotate, the metal wire 9 s'

will wind on axis 11 in the opposite direction by automatically determining the closing of said screen. By virtue of this measure, it will not be possible to force the command to close or open the screen, thus allowing a long life for the mechanism described.
Further, the arrangement of the outlet to be angled inwardly 30 improves the launch of hot air into the ambient area.
As regards the humidification of the ambient air, the plate 16, which plunges into the bowl 13, will soak up with water by capillarity; this water will be evaporated by the current of circulating hot air which will become humidified automatically to the great advantage of the well-being conditions of the room.
