<EMI ID=1.1>
"Device for recovering heat from the combustion gases of a combustion heater".
The present invention relates to a device for recovering heat from the combustion gases of a combustion heating appliance, comprising a combustion gas discharge duct.
Gas burns by heaters. combustion, in particular boilers and generators, have a temperature of the order of 2500 'and this results in a loss of calories in the exhaust chimney.
The object of the present invention is to recover a large part of the heat thus lost. To this end, the heat recovery device according to the invention comprises a sheath arranged around the exhaust duct for the combustion gases of the appliance. heating, sheath open at its ends.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a forced air circulation apparatus is mounted in said duct and preferably, this forced air circulation apparatus has the function of directing the air up and down. low. Thus, the device according to the invention attracts the ambient air above the chamber to be heated and discharges the heat from below, which is especially appreciable in heating installations in preparation.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, a thermostat for controlling the device for forced air circulation in the duct is provided and it is preferably installed on the duct 1 for discharging the combustion gases'.
Other details and features of the invention will emerge from the description given below, without limitation of an embodiment of the invention with reference to the appended figure, which shows a perspective view, partially in section. , in elevation, of the heat recovery device according to the invention.
Reference 1 designates an exhaust duct for
combustion gas from any heating appliance, duct which at its upper end is connected to a chimney, not shown. According to the present invention, a sheath 2 is arranged around said duct, the sheath being open at its two ends. A fan 3 is mounted in the upper mouth of the duct 2 and directs, when it is in operation, the air up and down in the duct. Internal circular beads 4 are provided on the sheath 2 in order to create vortices and slow down the passage of air in the sheath in order to capture the maximum heat out of the duct 1. A thermostat 5 is mounted on the external face of the duct. 1 and is connected to the motor 6 for driving the fan 3.
The recovery device according to the invention extracts the maximum amount of waste heat to the chimney and
captures heat from above the room to diffuse it towards
<EMI ID = 1.1>
heat normally lost in the chimney.
It should be understood that the invention is not
limited to the embodiment described and that many variations can be made without departing from the scope of the present patent.
