<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

A recognized drawback of rigid containers made of metal, wood or any other rigid material is the bulkiness they represent when empty.
Completely flexible Containers have been proposed to overcome this drawback and at the same time meet a gem of useful possibilities. These Containers, to perfectly meet the goals they propose, are particularly expensive.
The object of the present invention is a semi-flexible removable container, less bulky dismantled than a rigid container and more economical than a fully flexible container, while meeting the same range of useful possibilities of the latter.
One of the difficulties in obtaining this removable and economical intermediate container lies in obtaining, when empty, the automatic folding of the flexible lateral surface of the tank, when
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
after removing the rigid connecting columns between the cover and the base, which are also rigid, we want to bring back the empty container in a reduced space.
According to the invention, this difficulty is solved by a manufacturing process applied to the lateral surface of flexible material before it is adapted to the rigid framework, which, with the adaptation devices, constitutes the subject of the present invention.
The automatic folding, under the same folds, resulting from the application of this process, determines the whole series of possibilities of rigid framework which surrounds and supports the flexible material under load, to make it serve the whole range of materials. useful possibilities of the Container and allow easy and quick disassembly, in a small space-saving manner, of the empty Container. By way of example, assuming that the lateral surface of flexible material of the Volume-Reservoir of a removable container is that of a straight cylinder with a circular base, the process according to the invention will preferably be carried out. as below: Before adaptation to the rigid framework; the flexible side surface of the Container is laid flat, in the direction of the height of the cylinder.
Two opposite surfaces of flexible material have thus been produced, which are either square or rectangular o On each of these two surfaces, the corresponding diagonals are drawn. The meeting point of the diagonals determines the common vertex of four opposing triangles by the vertex two by two, which are either equilateral or isosceles.
Part of the surface of the two triangles opposite the top in the direction of the height of the cylinder is overloaded with an appropriate flexible material of the desired thickness according to the dimensions of the volume as a function of the capacity, thereby causing the automatic folding. than the surface of flexible material, under the same folds, in a reduced overall volume.
From the determination of the automatic folding as described above, all kinds of rigid frameworks, partly fixed and partly removable, can be adapted, depending on the goals pursued.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
In order for the invention to be fully understood, an embodiment will be described below, shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing! The drawing represents a removable Container, .. whose Volume-Reservoir is a straight cylinder with a circular base, with a diameter equal to the height of the cylinder.
Fig.I.-. represents in elevation, the Container with chains and suspension ring.
I) The lateral surface of flexible material of the cylinder which is .supposed of rubber and to have been before its adaptation to the rigid framework laid flat in the direction of the height of the cylinder to thus determine the two opposite square surfaces of flexible material.
2) The two diagonals of each of the opposite square surfaces' having determined on each of them, the common vertex of four equilateral triangles.
3) The two triangles opposite by, the top in the direction of the height of the cylinder which have been loaded with rubber by vulcanization.
4) A crown of U profile, in special aluminum, including the. parallel faces towards the inside, represents the support of the Container lid.
5) The lid of the aluminum Container shown in one piece on the drawing, but which could equally well have several concentric circular lids for pou-. see adapting more hermetically, to the different openings of the Sillos, which the Container is called upon to fill.
6) Two small sections of U-iron, the back of which is welded to it circular flat iron for clamping the flexible material against the crown, at two opposite points, where columns, preferably of special steel, link the supports of the lid and bottom of the Container.
7) Circular flat iron (visible in Fig. 2) which clamps the flexible material against the support crown of the cover, by bolting or other suitable process.
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
8) Two opposite steel columns connecting the supports of the lid and the bottom of the Container.
9) A crown of U profile in special aluminum, with parallel faces towards the inside, represents the support of the bottom of the Container.
10) Bottom of the Container, slightly funnel-shaped, of special aluminum, the opening of which for emptying can be caused, for example, by the special steel plate, provided "with a bar to which it is possible to adapt a lever, to rotate the plate around a rod for - opening and then bring it back, in a notch for closing,
II) Two small sections of U-iron for the bottom, identical to those described in 6) for the cover.
12) Circular flat iron for the bottom, identical to that described in 7) for the cover.
13) Suspension chain for two opposite columns.
14) Suspension ring, to which the different suspension chains for opposite columns come together which will eventually be used to suspend the Container from a hook of a frame, by lowering the body of a truck to leave the Container suspended.
The container thus suspended can serve as a Sillo to supply any manufacturing.

It goes without saying that the manufacturing process for obtaining the automatic folding of a lateral surface of flexible material of a removable container according to the invention can be carried out otherwise than described, for example by applying the overload to the triangles. , by bonding rubber instead of vulcanization, by choosing any other flexible material, any suitable louse to obtain by the same process, the same result of automatic folding; with an overload process in relation to the chosen material.
It also goes without saying that the rigid framework which supports and surrounds the lateral surface of flexible material may include more or less columns than those shown in the drawing; be designed for other Reservoir Volumes than that of a straight circular base cylinder; that the supports and supports of the rigid framework can be designed in other rigid materials than those of aluminum

other fixing systems and other filling and emptying systems, without departing from the invention which consists in obtaining the automatic folding. that under determined folds, of the lateral surface made of flexible material, be rigid framework, by means of a process of overloading on a part of the surface of the triangles in question and whose number is a function of the symmetrical division of the side surface in flexible material, according to the shape chosen for the U support profiles respectively of the cover and the bottom, which determine the shape of the Volume-Reservoir of the Container.
