<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
Figure 1: vue en perspective d'un cabinet de coiffure con- forme à l'invention, avec une cloison déployée et une cloison rentrée ; figure 2 : une vue latérale d'une cloison déployée; figure 3: une vue de champ de la cloison représentée à la figure 2 ; figure 4: une représentation à plus grande échelle d'une partie de la figure 3; figure 5: une coupe d'une partie de la figure 2 par un plan dont la trace est représentée par la droite A-B;
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>
<Desc/Clms Page number 5>

In hairdressing salons, it is customary to subdivide the premises by fixed partitions or by curtains mounted on wooden frames or metal frames fixed to a wall. However, these permanently installed devices have the drawback that they make the maintenance of the premises more difficult and exclude the possibility of working in larger compartments if the need arises. On the other hand, we have so far opposed employment. retractable partitions because they are generally inconvenient when retracted, cannot be opened and closed easily and lack stability.
The object of the present invention is to avoid these drawbacks
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
by means of a partition fixed to a wall and which can be deployed in the manner of a fan, one of the slats of said fan as well as the articulation of the latter bearing against the on. We can also provide that the blades of the fan are housed in a box when the fan is closed. The maneuver is made particularly easy by the fact that the free ends of the slats, that is to say the end opposite to the articulation by which they are fixed to the wall, are threaded on a rope whose end free can be immobilized in different positions in the cabinet.
To give more solidity to the whole, the outermost strip of the fan-shaped device may include an arm, of reinforcement articulated at the same place as the strips.
An element of improvement of the housing or cassette as well as the spare parts of the fans intended to constitute the removable partitions, consists in using as a box a U-section molding, in providing the latter with an axis on which slats in the form of sectors pivot, and to provide slots at the free ends of said slats in which a tape passes freely, fixed on the one hand to the reinforced outer strip and on the other hand to the aforesaid molding.
It is advantageous to provide around the free end of each strip two parallel slots and to ensure that a tape passes each time only through one of these two slots, while the tape carries a series of tabs that one passes through the second slit and which 1-'on then fixes to the ribbon so as to form a kind of loop.
The main advantage which results from the invention is due to the fact that the intermediate partitions conforming to the latter do not introduce bulky elements into the room and that it is also possible to arrange at will of a large single room or to subdivide it into cabins by lowering the partitions. You can also keep an excellent overview
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
and show all of the hairdressing salon's facilities by only partially folding down the partitions or by making them completely fit into their accommodations when the salon is not occupied. On the other hand, it is possible to give these partitions an aesthetic cachet by constituting them with slats of different colors chosen judiciously.
The construction of the fan-shaped partitions according to the invention allows them to be deployed and retracted with the greatest ease, and the guiding of the slats by tape as well as their fixing according to the invention ensure that they fit well. flat against each other so as to constitute a continuous flat surface, while any possibility of wedging in their housing is excluded by their method of fixing on the axis which means that they can only pivot from field.
There is also a striking advantage of the system to be noted, resulting from the fact that the connection of the flexible slats with the stabilization bar allows the partition to adapt elastically to all lateral stresses while it is being pulled back. automatically returns to the vertical plane as soon as these stresses are removed.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings which, however, only show an example of execution:
Figure 1: perspective view of a hairdressing cabinet in accordance with the invention, with a partition deployed and a partition retracted; FIG. 2: a side view of a deployed partition; FIG. 3: a field view of the partition shown in FIG. 2; FIG. 4: a representation on a larger scale of part of FIG. 3; FIG. 5: a section of part of FIG. 2 by a plane whose trace is represented by the straight line A-B;
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Figure 6: a part of the partition according to the invention.
The hairdressing salon according to the invention comprises partitions arranged between the locations, constituted by a cofiret 2 fixed to the wall at approximately 1.50 m above the ground, possibly provided with a closing door and intended to receive a partition 3 composed of slats, when this partition is in the retracted position 4. The outer slats 3a and 3b are joined respectively to the box 2 and to a stabilization arm 5 (see figures 2, 3 and 4) mounted on a socket 6 which can pivot on the axis 7 of the cabinet and maintains the partition at right angles to the wall.
The folding of the slats in the cofiret 2 as well as their fan-shaped deployment to constitute the partition are controlled by a cord 18 which passes through perforations of the slats 3, is attached to the outer slat 3b, comes out of the wall box 2 through a hole 9, and can be attached to a hook 10 (Figure 1).
The strips 3 (see Figure 5) are curved in the transverse direction and can pivot around the axis 7 and the bush 6. Around their free ends, the strips 3 are provided with slots 11 and 11a and interconnected by a tape 8 which passes through said slots. In the two embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 to 6, the tape 8 only passes through the slots 11, the strips 3 being attached to the tape 8 by tabs 13 which embrace the bridges between the slots 11 and 11a and are attached at 12a and 12b to the ribbon 8.
According to the invention and as shown in Figure 6, is attached to the tape ¯8, before passing the latter through the slots of the lamellae, a series of suitably spaced tongues 13, this connection being made by high frequency welding and at one end of the tabs only, and it is only after passing the tape 8 through the slots, that these tabs are passed over the bridges 12 and into the slots 11 to fix the strips 3 and
<Desc / Clms Page number 5>
that the other end 12a is welded to the tape 8.
In accordance with Figures 3 and 4, the slats 3 are arranged inside the box 2¯ on a dcuille 7 which allows one to pass through it. axis or pivot 14. On this sleeve 7 is mounted the stabilization arm 5 attached to the lower strip 3b by the rivets 15 and is covered on the outer side by a. additional strip 16. As shown in FIG. 4, the strips are retained inside the box 2 by a rope 18 passing through holes 17 of the strips 2. and attached to the exterior strip 3b.
It is therefore sufficient to release this cord, which leaves the box 2 through a side opening 9. so that the partition unfolds like a fan.
