L'invention se rapporte à l'emballage de panneaux imprimés et plus particulièrement de panneaux publicitaires présentant un certain carac- tère artistique et permettant d'en effectuer le transport dans que les pan- neaux risquent d'être endommagés.
Ces panneaux sont, en général, du type dans lequel on utilise une feuille de papier fort, ou carton léger, qui reçoit l'impression et une feuille de carton compact ou ondulé servant de support à la première feuille et sur laquelle on peut prélever, par découpage approprié, le chevalet de maintien du panneau lors de son exposition, la liaison entre la feuille im- primée et le carton de support se faisant par tous moyens appropriés.
Le dispositif d'emballage, objet de l'invention, est essentielle- ment constitué par une double feuille de carton compact et ondulé dont les deux éléments sont reliés à articulation sur l'un de leurs bords de maniè- re à former cahier, l'un des éléments étant découpé dans sa partie centrale et destiné à recevoir le panneau publicitaire.
Pour assurer le maintien de ce panneau dans l'encadrement décou-- pé dans le carton d'emballage, la feuille imprimée dépasse légèrement sur ses bords le support carton à laquelle elle est liée, de manière à consti tuer un épaulement qui, une fois la feuille imprimée mise en place dans l'en- cadrement, vient prendre appui contre le carton de l'emballage et empêche tout déplacement et glissement de la feuille susceptible de la détériorer pendant le transport.
L'emballage est complété par la disposition d'une feuille de carton supplémentaire de format des éléments d'emballage qui vient recouvrir l'encadrement de l'élément d'emballage dans lequel est insérée la feuille imprimée.
Au dessin annexé, on a représenté un dispositif d'emballage conforme à l'invention.
La figure 1 montre l'emballage constitué par les deux éléments de carton articulés l'un à l'autre par un de leurs bords, ces deux éléments étant représentés dans la position ouverte avec la feuille imprimée reposant sur l'un d'eux.
La figure 2 montre les deux éléments d'emballage fermés avec la feuille imprimée logée dans son encadrement ;
La figure 3 est une coupe de l'ensemble de l'emballage.
Si l'on se reporta aux figures, on voit que l'emballage est essentiellement constitué par deux-éléments 1 et 2 de carton fort ou ondulé, reliés à articulation sur l'un de leurs bords en 3 par une bande gommée par exemple.
La feuille imprimée, feuille de papier ou de carton léger 4, liée à son support 5 en carton fort ou ondulé par tous moyens convenables et particulièrement par collage, a ses bords 6 dépassant légèrement les bords du caton-support 5, de manière à former épaulement ainsi qu'il sera expliqué ci-après.
L'élément 1 de l'emballage est découpé en 11 dans sa partie car.-trale suivant le contour du carton fort ou ondulé recevant la feuille impri- mée et cette partie découpée peut être utilisée comme support 5 de la feuille imprimée. d'articulation. Il en est de même du dispositif arrêtoir 9 du chevalet pour le maintenir ouvert.
Pour l'emballage de la feuille imprimée 4 et de son panneau-support 5, il suffit, après avoir replié le chevalet 7, de placer la feuille imprimée au contact de l'élément 2 de l'emballage ouvert et on rabat ensuite l'élément 1, de telle manière que le panneau de support 5 vienne s'encastrer dans l'ouverture 11, de l'élément 1, en faisant pivoter cet élément 1 pour l'avancer dans la position de fermeture.
La feuille imprimée est maintenue par son épaulement 6 dans l'encadrement et ne peut le quitter même si les éléments 1, 2 avaient tendance à s'ouvrir. On complète l'assemblage par l'apposition d'un panneau en carton fort ou ondulé 10 sur l'élément 1, et l'ensemble éléments 1 et 2 et panneau 10 est entouré d'un papier d'emballage pour l'expédition.
On obtient ainsi un emballage de panneaux publicitaires ou autres permettant leur transport dans de bonnes conditions de sécurité, emballages toujours difficiles à exécuter avec les méthodes ordinaires surtout lorsqu'il s'agit de panneaux de grandes dimensions.
REVENDICATIONS.
1.- Dispositif d'emballage pour panneaux imprimés pour usages publicitaires ou autres, constitué par deux éléments de cartonnage fort ou ondulé, reliés sur l'un de leurs bords à articulation de manière à former cahier, l'un de ces éléments étant découpé dans sa partie centrale suivant le contour du support en carton fort ou ondulé de la feuille imprimée dont les bords dépassent légèrement les bords de son support de façon à former épaulement et à empêcher tout déplacement et glissement du panneau imprimé, une fois ce dernier mis en place entre les deux éléments de cartonnage dans l'ouverture de l'élément du cahier, l'emballage étant complété par l'apposition d'un panneau en cartonnage de protection contre l'élément présentant l'ouverture du récepteur du panneau imprimé.

The invention relates to the packaging of printed panels and more particularly of advertising panels having a certain artistic character and allowing them to be transported in which the panels risk being damaged.
These panels are, in general, of the type in which a sheet of strong paper or light cardboard is used, which receives the printing and a sheet of compact or corrugated cardboard serving as a support for the first sheet and on which it is possible to take, by appropriate cutting, the easel for holding the panel during its exposure, the connection between the printed sheet and the support cardboard being made by any appropriate means.
The packaging device, object of the invention, is essentially constituted by a double sheet of compact and corrugated cardboard, the two elements of which are hingedly connected on one of their edges so as to form a notebook. one of the elements being cut in its central part and intended to receive the advertising panel.
To ensure that this panel is held in the frame cut out in the packaging box, the printed sheet protrudes slightly on its edges from the cardboard support to which it is bound, so as to constitute a shoulder which, once the printed sheet placed in the frame, comes to rest against the cardboard of the packaging and prevents any movement and sliding of the sheet liable to damage it during transport.
The packaging is completed by the provision of an additional sheet of cardboard in the format of the packaging elements which covers the frame of the packaging element in which the printed sheet is inserted.
The accompanying drawing shows a packaging device according to the invention.
FIG. 1 shows the packaging consisting of the two cardboard elements articulated to one another by one of their edges, these two elements being shown in the open position with the printed sheet resting on one of them.

If we refer to the figures, we see that the packaging is essentially constituted by two-elements 1 and 2 of strong or corrugated cardboard, articulated on one of their edges at 3 by a gummed strip for example.
The printed sheet, sheet of paper or light cardboard 4, bound to its support 5 of strong or corrugated cardboard by any suitable means and particularly by gluing, has its edges 6 slightly protruding from the edges of the caton-support 5, so as to form shoulder as will be explained below.
The element 1 of the packaging is cut at 11 in its cardboard part following the outline of the strong or corrugated cardboard receiving the printed sheet and this cut part can be used as support 5 for the printed sheet. For the packaging of the printed sheet 4 and of its support panel 5, it suffices, after having folded up the easel 7, to place the printed sheet in contact with the element 2 of the open packaging and the element 1, in such a way that the support panel 5 fits into the opening 11 of the element 1, by pivoting this element 1 to advance it into the closed position.
The printed sheet is held by its shoulder 6 in the frame and cannot leave it even if the elements 1, 2 tend to open. The assembly is completed by affixing a strong or corrugated cardboard panel 10 on the element 1, and the assembly of elements 1 and 2 and panel 10 is surrounded by wrapping paper for shipping.
A packaging of advertising or other signs is thus obtained allowing their transport in good safety conditions, packaging always difficult to carry out with ordinary methods, especially when it comes to large-size signs.
CLAIMS.
1.- Packaging device for printed panels for advertising or other uses, consisting of two elements of strong or corrugated cardboard, connected on one of their articulated edges so as to form a notebook, one of these elements being cut in its central part following the outline of the strong or corrugated cardboard support of the printed sheet, the edges of which slightly exceed the edges of its support so as to form a shoulder and to prevent any displacement and sliding of the printed panel, once the latter has been placed in placed between the two cardboard elements in the opening of the element of the notebook, the packaging being completed by the affixing of a protective cardboard panel against the element having the opening of the receiver of the printed panel.
