L'invention permet de supprimer de façon très simple les inconvénients mentionnés et consiste essentiellement à conformer et à disposer l'organe d'arrêt tubulaire de telle sorte qu'il serve sur toute sa longueur a guider le milieu ou fluide en circulation et qu'il ne comporte des éléments de guidage et d'étanchéité qu'au voisinage de ses extrémités;

The present invention relates to a shut-off valve comprising a driven tubular member which slides axially to come into place against a fixed closure member. In currently known types of valves, the shut-off member is. guided and mounted in a sealed manner between the walls of the Doisseau, both outside and inside, so that the circulating media are guided exclusively by the internal wall of the valve. This results in drawbacks from various points of view. For example, it is necessary to provide large sections, because it is necessary that the paries are strong enough to close the tubular stop member.
In addition, it is technically not favorable to ensure both internally and externally the etanoheity of a circular wall. Subsequently, the tubular sealing members mostly bear on guide surfaces of the inner wall.
However, a slight fouling is sufficient to force an abnormal increase in the forces necessary for the movement of the stop member,
The invention makes it possible to very simply eliminate the drawbacks mentioned and consists essentially in shaping and arranging the tubular stop member so that it serves over its entire length to guide the medium or fluid in circulation and that it only has guiding and sealing elements in the vicinity of its ends;
The appended drawing, given by way of non-limiting example, shows several possible embodiments of the subject of the invention.
Figures 1 to 4 are views in longitudinal section of four shut-off valves according to the invention
In these four examples, the plug is made up of several elements 1, 2 and 3. On one of these elements is mounted a fixed closure member 4. Coming to rest against this closure member 4 is arranged a tube. 5 sliding axially, guided and sealed by seals 6 or the like mounted near its ends. In view of its axial displacement, the stop member 5 is directly connected.
and desmodromically to the training organs
According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the displacement forces of a pin 7 are transmitted mechanically by means of a lever 8 and two diametrically opposed axes mounted on the stop member 5.
According to the embodiments shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the tubular stopper member 5 has, on its outer periphery, a collar 9 acting as a piston. This collar 9 moves axially between the cylindrical walls 10 of the plug. This collar or piston 9 receives on its two faces, the pressure of the medium or circulating fluid. For this purpose, a four-way valve 11 is provided which communicates the conduit 12 coming from the network of pipes with the conduits 13 and 14 These conduits 13 and 14 open into the chambers 15 and 16 of the cylinder, delimited by the piston 9. The four-way valve 11 simultaneously controls the exit of the medium or fluid in circulation from the chambers 15, 16.
In order to obtain a good seal between the stationary closure member 4 and the axially sliding tubular stopper member 5, this stopper member 5 has an extension 17.
According to the embodiment shown in Figure 2, the, .prolongation 17 remains tightly applied against the closure member, fixed 4 penlantla all of the movement occurring during the opening or closing of the valve. So that the medium or fluid can pass when the valve is fully or partially open, the extension 17 has a number of radial channels 18 formed by slots in the present example.
According to the embodiment shown in Figure 3, the extension 17 of the axially sliding tubular stopper member 5 is short

and engages, when it reaches the closed position, in a recess, annular 19 in the closure body 4. In the recess 19 is arranged an annular sealing ring 20 which can move axially and placed under the bias a A spring 21. The seal ring 20 is held by a Seger ring 22 or the like which prevents it from falling out.
Towards the end of the closing movement, the end 23 at the extension 17 abuts against the sealing ring 20, When the closing movement continues, the extension 17 pushes the sealing ring 20 inside the recess. 19, against the action of spring 21.
According to the embodiment shown in Figure 4, the extension 17 of the tubular stopper 5 abuts towards the end of the closing movement against a ring 24 which is embedded in a deformable mass 25 similar to rubber. This assembly is carried out in such a way that the ring 24 serves to compress or push back the plastic mass 25. Towards the end of the closure, the ring 24 is pushed into the mass 25, which is thus pushed outwards by the end 23 to extension 17.
To produce this plastic mass 25, macromolecules are formed in a network by polymerization, by fixing by reaction the polyisocyanates on compounds containing hydrogen atoms having a reactive power, network in which giant molecules are linked together at rather large intervals by a transverse link, such that a large mesh structure results with evenly distributed nodes.
According to the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the closure member 4 has a spherical cap 26 which can be lifted. This cnapeau 26 is mounted so as to be able to move freely in a guide element integral with the closure member 4. This closure member 4 is hollow and has orifices 27 facing the cap 26.
When a discharge occurs, for example aans a transport conduit, the cnapeau 26 automatically rises and abuts against the tubular stop member 7. The conduit is then closed in the direction of the discharge.
Details of construction may be changed, without departing from the invention, within the scope of technical equivalents.
