BOUILLOIRE MUNIE D RACLOIR ANTICALCAIRE INCORPORE.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

REVENDICATIONS. à considérer en combinaisons ou séparément.
1. - Bouilloire munie de racloir anticalcaire incorporé.
2. - Racloir anticalcaire à incorporer dans bouilloire.

KETTLE EQUIPPED WITH INCORPORATED ANTICALCAIRE SCRAPER.
The invention relates to a kettle with a built-in anti-scraper.
An object of the invention is that of constituting a new simple, practical and easy method for removing the scale deposit which forms inside common kettles after a certain use.
Another object pursued by the invention is that of making it possible to remove the lime at a time determined by the user, unlike known removal devices, the present device, according to the invention, does not. not mix the lime content with water during boiling and use. Known devices being independent and immersing themselves in water freely, move during boiling in order to scrape the bottom of the kettle to prevent the adhesion of the limestone, which causes the limestone to mix with the water, in precipitated form. and thus remain in the boiled water for consumption.
Yet another object pursued by the invention is that of designing a kettle itself having its own means for removing limescale deposits and thus giving the power to reach the boiling point of water more quickly, which makes the present kettle in use more economical than the known kettle.
The anti-limescale scraper, according to the invention, is characterized by the fact that it is fixed and incorporated in the kettle and that its activation is controlled by a button, or else a crank or rotating lever, located above and outside the kettle.
Preferably, use will be made of an axis, pivoting in bases located one in the bottom of the kettle and the other at the top.
The upper base allows the shaft to pass, as a pad, outwards, and on the shaft will be fixed the button which will rotate the whole anti-limescale scraper in the kettle on which it is built.
The axis will be provided at its base with one or more arms, carrying a system for scraping the bottom of the), kettle. This scraping system, described @

hereinafter, may also provide the passage against the side wall (wall), on a part on the height.
The scraper system to be incorporated into the kettle canopy, operated by hand by the control knob, located outside the kettle, may be of flexible design and thus be able to continue to operate in the event that Scraping surfaces would be deformed by accidentally caused bumps. If the system should be rigid, a bump, however small, could be an obstacle and a stopper to the passage of the squeegee.
The material intended for manufacture is preferably the metal used for the manufacture of kettles.
The invention will be described from the design, shown in the accompanying drawing,., Of three methods of execution, given by way of example.
Fig. 1, shows the kettle seen in cross-section through the center, fitted with the anti-lime scraper. The axis -a- swivels in the bases -d-. The bone - saturated with the scraper is formed in addition by the arm -b-, furnished with a coil spring made of steel wire, which acts as a scraper for the bottom of the kettle as well as its side wall.
The coil spring is marked -h-.
The button -c-activating the assembly is fixed on the axis -a-.
Fig. 2 shows a system with knives or blades, plan view.
Fig. 4 shows the same system seen in elevation.
The knives or blades-e- are mounted on the arm-b- in a removable manner and with springs -f-. These knives or blades can be smooth, sharp or provided with saw teeth.
Fig. 3 shows a wire brush system, plan view.
Fig. 5 shows this same system seen in elevation.
The arm-b- is provided with a brush-g-, preferably metallic, this brushes and scrapes the bottom and the wall of the kettle.
