Dans le cas où l'on déplace. la conduite en exerçant sur elle un effort de traction il arrive souvent, que les lèvres en saillie des colliers, s'accrochent fortement aux aspérités, de sorte qu'il est impossible de faire avancer la conduite- avant d'avoir dégagé le collier;
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Hose clamp.
When it comes to hooking up to one. hose end of flexible material such as for example compressed air pipes, it is known to make use of clamps ,.
These are generally composed of two parts that are assembled on the pipe to maintain the tightening being obtained by means of bolts and nuts.
In the event that we move. driving by exerting a pulling force on it it often happens that the protruding lips of the collars cling strongly to the rough edges, so that it is impossible to move the pipe forward before having released the collar;
, cele. presents drawbacks especially in mines where the compressed air pipes must be often moved
The object of the present invention is to produce a collar which, while making it possible to obtain a suitable tightening * presented advantages mainly due to the fact that it prevents snagging.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
A feature of the invention resides in that the collar is constituted by an element having the appearance of a wire provided with a clamping means formed from said element.
Thus, in a practical embodiment of the invention, the collar is an annealed steel wire forming an eyelet covering the pipe to be held and another serving for tightening. According to a particularly advantageous form, a collar according to the invention comprises an eyelet for the pipe, and two diametrically opposed eyelets, the wire constituting the collar not exhibiting a solution of continuity because the two ends are joined by any system and of preferably by welding.
Other features may appear in the following description of the accompanying drawings, given by way of example, no. limitative of one embodiment of the invention
In these drawings r
FIG. 1 is a diagrammatic view, part by part, in perspective., Of the elements of the connector.
Figure 2 is a perspective view, showing the elements in their relative positions to form a joint.
A flexible pipe, for example rubber, partially shown at 1, is generally fixed on a tip similar to that shown at 2, either that this tip delivers the fluid to be transported, or that it serves to connect two pipes.
A clamp., According to one embodiment of the invention, consists of a continuous filiform element 3 having an interlaced shape appearing
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
clearly in FIG. 1. The filiform element according to the invention is continuous, that is to say that it does not present any solution of continuity since the two ends are joined by welding. As shown. the collar according to the invention comprises a central part 4 intended to cover the piping and two diametrically opposed eyelets 5 and 6.
The connection being made as shown in Figure 2 tightening is easily obtained by twisting by means of pins, the eyelets 5 and 6 in the direction of arrows 5 'and 6'.
The eyelets have no sharp edges what. prevents the collar from catching on rough edges; moreover, it is possible to fold them back onto the pipe so that no protrusion remains.
It is clear that, without departing from the scope of the present invention, various modifications can be made to a collar such as that described above. Thus, for example, the wire can be made of steel, copper, brass or any other suitable material. The eyelets can take any shape other than the circular shape shown.
If the diameter of the central eyelet becomes large, it is possible to increase the number of peripheral tightening eyelets. Finally, the ends of the wire constituting the collar can be shaped as staples in order to allow their connection.
