La présente invention a pour objet un appareil pour sertir la capsule d'un récipient tel qu'une ampoule, caractérisé par le fait qu'il comprend un bâti auquel est fixé un moteur électrique dont l'arbre entraîne rotativement un chapeau destiné à recevoir la tête de l'ampoule dont la base est engagée dans un réceptacle logé dans une douille mobile dans le sens de l'axe du moteur, à l'intérieur d'une glissière faisant partie du bâti, cette douille étant susceptible d'être déplacée à l'aide d'un levier d'entraînement pivoté au dit bâti pour l'introduction de la tete de l'ampoule dans le chapeau, dans lequel la capsule a été placée au préalable, ce bâti portant un axe auquel est clave- té un levier susceptible de déplacer une tige pourvue d'un outil destiné à venir presser la tête de l'ampoule afin de sertir la capsule sur celle-ci,
des moyens étant ménagés, d'une part, pour commander l'axe que porte le bâti et pour déplacer le levier d'entraînement pivoté à celui-ci et, d'autre part, pour assurer l'extraction de l'ampoule lorsque sa capsule est sertie.

L'appareil représenté comprend un bâti 1 auquel est fixé un moteur électrique 2, dont l'arbre 3 entraîne rotativement, au moyen d'un arbre intermédiaire 4, un chapeau amovible 5; l'arbre 4 repose dans deux roulementsà billes 56 et 57 logés dans un pa- lier 58 faisant partie du bâti 1. Le chapeau 5 est pourvu intérieurement d'une garniture 6 en caoutchouc ou autre matière, contre laquelle est susceptible de presser la tête 7 d'une ampoule 8, dont la base 9 est engagée dans un réceptacle lo agencé a l'intérieur d'un support amovible 11 logé dans une douille 12; cette dernière est mobile longitudinalement sur une glissière 13 faisant partie du bâti 1.
Le réceptacle lo est muni intérieurement d'une ggrniture 14 en caoutchouc ou autre matière, sur laquelle repose l'ampoule 8, et est séparé du fond du support 11 par un ressort amortisseur 15.
Ce support 11 est porté par deux roulements à billes 16 et 17 logés dans la douille 12, et il est percé axia- lement d'un conduit 18 dans lequel peut coulisser une tige 19 glissant dans une fourchette 2o vissée au bâtil; le fond du réceptacle lo est également percé d'un orifice axial 21 au travers duquel peut passer la tige 19 pour chasser ou extraire l'ampoule 8-
A la douille 12 est articulée une des extrémi- tés d'un levier d'entraînement 22 pivoté au bâti,l, dont l'autre extrémité 23 porte une bride 24 munie d'une pédale non représentée, et est reliée à l'aide d'un ressort de rappel 25 à la paroi de ce bletti 1.

La douille 12 est pourvue d'un collier 26 portant, à l'intérieur du bâti 1, une tringle 27 de longueur réglable; celle-ci est munie d'une glissière 28 susceptible de déplacer u- ne branche 29 d'un levier à deux branches 30 claveté à un axe 31 traversant de part en part le bâti 1 et adapté rotativement dans des coussinets que porte celui-ci; l'autre branche 32 du levier 30 est destinée à déplacer une tige 33, par l'intermé- diaire d'une buttée réglable 34 que porte cette dernière ; tige 33 peut coulisser dass des trous du bâti 1, contre l'action d'un ressort de rappel 46, pour presser une molette de sertissage 35 contre la tête 7 de l'ampoule 8, cette molette 35 étant agencée sur un roulement à billes 36 dont est pourvue une portée 37 d'un axe 38 fixé à l'extrémité 39 de la tige 33.
Le collier 26 et le levier 22 peuvent être dé- placés au travers d'ouvertures correspondantes 40 et 41 ména- gées dans la paroi du bâti 1. e dernier comporte un organe de fixation comprenant une palqeu 42, une contreplaque 43 mobile fixée à une vis de serrage 44 destinée à être déplacée sur un bossage 45; celui-ci et la plaque 42 font partie du bâti 1.
L'appareil représenté est utilisé comme suit : La cape 5 et le réceptacle 10 correspondant au diamètre de l'ampoule à sertir sont adaptés respectivement à l'arbre inter- médiaire 4 et au support 11 ; position de la tige 19 et celle de la butée réglable 34 sont également fixées en rapport avec les dimensions de l'ampoule 8 envisagée ; est disposée dans le réceptacle 10, sa tête 7 étant pourvue d'une capsule, puis la douille 12 est actionnée dans le sens de la flèche 47 à l'aide du levier 22 de la bride 24 et d'une pédale non repré- sentée, jusqu'à ce que la tête 7 de l'ampoule soit pressée contre la garniture 6 qui,étént actionnée rotativement par le moteun 2, entraîne par friction l'ampoule 8 et le support 11;

lors de son déplacement dans le sens de la flèche 47, la douille 12 entraine le collier 26 qui, par l'intermédiaire de la tringle 27, de la glissière 28 , du levier à deux branches 30 et du poussoir 34, déplace la tige 33 de façon à presser la molette 35 contre la capsule de la tête 7 et à'sertir celle-ci ; loosque l'opération est terminée, le levier 22 est abandonné à l'action du ressort de rappel 25, et de ce fait déplace la douille en sens inverse de la flèche 47, la tige 19 se déplaçant à l'in- térieur du support 11 et du réceptacle lo vient buter contre le fond de l'ampoule 8 et pousse celle-ci hors du dit réceptacle;
simultanément, entraîné par la douille 12, le collier 26 déplace par l'intermédiaire de la tringle 27, la glissière 28 , le oouble levier 30 qui libère la buttée 34 ; celle-ci sous l'action du ressort de rappel 46 déplace la tige 33 dans le sans de la flèche 48 .
Il est prévu, dans une variante d'exécution de supprimer la bride 24 et la pédale correspondante, ainsi que le collier 26 et les organes commandés par celui-ci et de cla- veter à l'axe 31, à. l'extérieur du bâti 1, un levier de ma- noeuvre 49 destiné à actionner un bras 50 assujetti à l'axe 31 et reliéau moyen d'une tringle 51 à l'extrémité 23 du le- vier d'entraînement 22 ; la buttée 34 est alors déplacée en sens inverse de la flèche 48 soit par un levier indépendant claveté à l'axe 31, soit par une branche d'un levier double auquel appartiendraitn le bras 50.

The apparatus shown comprises a frame 1 to which is fixed an electric motor 2, the shaft 3 of which drives rotatably, by means of an intermediate shaft 4, a removable cap 5; the shaft 4 rests in two ball bearings 56 and 57 housed in a bearing 58 forming part of the frame 1. The cap 5 is provided internally with a gasket 6 of rubber or other material, against which the head is liable to press. 7 of a bulb 8, the base 9 of which is engaged in a receptacle lo arranged inside a removable support 11 housed in a socket 12; the latter is movable longitudinally on a slide 13 forming part of the frame 1.
The receptacle lo is provided internally with a ggrniture 14 of rubber or other material, on which the bulb 8 rests, and is separated from the bottom of the support 11 by a damping spring 15.
This support 11 is carried by two ball bearings 16 and 17 housed in the sleeve 12, and it is axially pierced with a duct 18 in which a rod 19 can slide sliding in a fork 2o screwed to the frame; the bottom of the receptacle lo is also pierced with an axial orifice 21 through which the rod 19 can pass to drive out or extract the bulb 8-

The apparatus shown is used as follows: The cap 5 and the receptacle 10 corresponding to the diameter of the crimping bulb are adapted respectively to the intermediate shaft 4 and to the support 11; position of the rod 19 and that of the adjustable stop 34 are also fixed in relation to the dimensions of the bulb 8 envisaged; is arranged in the receptacle 10, its head 7 being provided with a capsule, then the sleeve 12 is actuated in the direction of arrow 47 using the lever 22 of the flange 24 and a pedal, not shown , until the head 7 of the bulb is pressed against the gasket 6 which, being rotatably actuated by the motor 2, drives the bulb 8 and the support 11 by friction;
