La présente invention se rapporte à un dispositif destiné à soutenir le corps dans la position assise et est caractérisée par un organe de soutien en forme de grille destiné à soutenir le dos et composé de parties en forme de barres ou lattes reliées entre elles par des éléments flexibles, qui est muni d'une ceinture composée de deux parties pouvant être reliées l'une à l'autre, cet organe de soutien présentant en outre un noeud ou boucle dont la longueur peut être modifiée, qui peut être glissée autour d'un objet et qui sert de dispositif de' fixation ou d'attache pour l'organe de soutien.
Le dessin représente une forme de réalisation de l'objet de la présente invention.

Les figures 3 et 4 représentent deux applications différentes du dispositif suivant la présente invention.
Le dispositif présente un organe de soutien en forme de grille qui est composé d'un certain nombre de barres ou lattes 1. Les barres 1 sont reliées entre elles par des bandes ou cordes ? de façon telle,que la position relative des barres ne peut pas être modifiée lors de l'emploi du dispositif.
Sur les deux barres extrêmes 1, on a fixé un organe d'attache 3 en forme de bride. Entre les organes d'attache se trouve un espace libre permettant le passage d'une courroie ou ceinture 4 dont une extrémité est munie d'un anneau 5.
Sur la ceinture est glissé un organe composé d'un étrier 6 muni d'un galet tournant 7, qui sert de dispositif de guidage et de serrage. Dans le but de former un noeud ou boucle dont la longueur peut être modifiée, la deuxième extrémité de la ceinture est passée dans l'anneau 5, puis une deuxième fois sous le galet 7 de l'organe de guidage et de serrage et, afin qu'elle ne puisse plus être retirée, on la munit d'une broche transversale 8.
Le galet 7 pourvu d'une poignée qui n'est pas représentée sur le des sin est disposé d'une façon excentrique sur l'étrier 6, de sorte que,dans une position déterminée, il applique les deux parties superposées de la courroie se trouvant entre le galet et l'étrier sur ce dernier, ce qui empêche un déplacement des parties de la courroie et par suite une modification de la longueur de la boucle.
Les deux organes d'attache 3 servent également de moyen de fixation pour chacune des bandes 9, dont l'une porte un anneau 10 par lequel est tirée l'extrémité de la deuxième bande. Les deux bandes 9 constituent la ceinture à l'aide de laquelle l'organe de soutien appliqué à la partie inférieure du dos est attaché au corps. courroie 4 qui sert à former la boucle du noeud. Les organes d'attache 3 sont en outre fixés de telle façon aux lattes extrêmes de l'organe de soutien que, lors de l'usage du dispositif, dans le but d'en empêcher le basculement,les parties les plus longues des barres sont dirigées vers le bas.
Le dispositif peut être employé par exemple à la plage, à la campage, etc.. pour maintenir le corps dans la position assise avec les jambes étendues. Comme le représente la figure 3, la boucle formée par la courroie 4 est glissée autour des pieds ou des souliers soulevés, et est ensuite raccourcie jusqu'à ce que le noeud de la boucle soit serré et la boucle tendue. Mais on peut aussi employer le dispositif pour maintenir dans la position assise le corps d'une personne se trouvant au lit. Dans ce cas, la boucle de la courroie 4 est glissée par au-dessus du pied du lit comme représenté à la figure 4.
Le dispositif ne nécessite que peu d'espace lorsqu'il n'est pas employé (fig.2), la ceinture et la boucle étant enroulées autour des barres assemblées en faisceau. Sous cette forme, on peut le transporter dans un sac au dos ou dans une sacoche.
Les barres 1 de l'organe de soutien peuvent être fabriquées en bois ou bien aussi en métal, de préférence en alliage léger, et,dans ce dernier cas,elles peuvent avoir un profil creux. La counoie 4 est appliquée d'une façon lâche aux organes d'attache 3, de sorte que le noeud peut toujours être amené dans une position telle que l'organe de serrage 6,7 puisse être actionné par la personne dont le corps est maintenu dans la position assise, cette personne pouvant adapter la longueur de la boucle aux besoins du moment.
