<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

"OIL BURNER"
The present invention relates to an oil burner, especially intended to be adapted to a domestic stove, comprising a device for prior vaporization of the oil before combustion.
The mszout burner according to the present invention is of simple and economical construction.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The invention consists of a burner formed in such a way that the liquid fuel arriving from the outside is vaporized instantly after entering the interior of a vaporization device heated from the outside by the heat of combustion, the steam free taking an upward movement, between the vertical walls of the burner caused by the suction of the chimney connected to the stove and arriving at the upper end to be burned there by the combustion air drawn in at the same time through holes made in the vertical burner wall.
According to one embodiment of the invention, a long tube brought back on itself to reduce the bulk is fitted inside the tank-shaped copps of the burner on the fuel oil supply nozzle, the free end of this tube being directed downwards in coincidence with the vertical axis of the body of the burner.
According to a particular embodiment of the invention, the tube is wound on itself in the form of a spiral, the axis of the spiral coinciding with the vertical axis of the body of the burner.
The body of the burner is made up of two main parts, one of which has holes placed above the other has a cylindrical tubular shape and the other has the shape of a cylindrical-conical or cylindro-frustoconical bowl whose opening has a diameter of a little greater than the diameter of the upper part of the burner, the latter resting on the lower part by means of an annular part towards the top and the edge.
The annular part is made in a particular way by a flat ring whose inner and outer edges are folded in the opposite direction, the inner edge being raised so as to be able to be introduced.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
in the upper cylindrical part of the burner and the outer edge being folded down so as to encircle the upper edge of the bowl forming the base of the burner.
In addition, the annular part thus formed is pierced with drip holes to collect any condensation.
Other features of the invention will become apparent from the description of the drawing appended to this specification, given by way of non-limiting example of certain particular shapes according to the invention.
This figure represents in vertical section an oil burner composed of a base in the form of a bowl 1 on which rests the upper cylindrical part 2, pierced with holes 7 by means of a circular ring 4 with edges 4a and 4b folded, the first upwards and the second downwards, so as to be able to center and hold in place the two parts of the burner as shown in the figure, the ring being pierced with drip holes 48 so as to collect any condensations.
In the nozzle 5 for supplying the fuel oil is fitted the tube 5 wound in a spiral with turns 5a possibly contiguous and whose end 6a is placed on the axis of the body of the burner with its opening facing downwards.
The operation is as follows:
The fuel oil arriving by 3 in the tube 5 and the spiral 5a is heated by the heat radiation of the burnt gases striking the spiral tube and is launched out of it. In the form of vapor into the lower bowl 1 through the opening 6a .
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
These vapors take an upward movement as a result of the breathing of the chimney of the room to which the stove is connected and mix with the air itself drawn in through the holes 7 so as to form a flame at the upper level 8 of the burner.
