DéPOSé A L'APPUI D'UNE DEMANDE DE BREVET D'INVENTION

FILED IN SUPPORT OF A PATENT OF INVENTION APPLICATION
The present invention relates to improvements to vane pumps of the type already known.
In this type provided with two fins which are in common use, the efficiency had been sacrificed a little too much.
The present invention overcomes these drawbacks by substantially increasing the yield.
The accompanying drawing shows by way of example one embodiment of the invention.
Fig. (2) In a cylindrical body moves around the central shaft 1, the fin 2, at the lower part and grouped in a restricted space we notice the exhaust valves 3 and 4, those of suction 5 and 6 and an air bell lo, under the valves 5 and 6 opens the liquid inlet pipe in the pump 11.
Fig. (1) At the lower part of the air bell, the delivery pipe 9 is detached, fitted with an exhaust valve 7, closed by the key 8, there is also a screw forming a plug.
12, hole which allows the pump to be emptied in the event of frost by lifting valves 5 and 6 using a hook,
The operation is very simple. By pushing the lever to the right as indicated by the arrow, the vane moves in the same direction being carried on the same axis as the lever and on the same side. The vane emptying to the left, the valve 5 s' opens and admits the liquid, while that which the vane discharges on the right escapes through valve 4 into the air bell then flows through pipe 9. If the lever is pushed to the left the reverse phenomena occur.
The advantages of this pump are numerous and immediately appear: it has only one vane, it is always fitted, without special or expensive provisions, with a bell

with air, its outlet valve is directed downwards, which is a considerable advantage when the pump is intended for domestic use, it is very easy to visit all of its parts and in case of frost it empties with the greatest ease.
As there is only one fin, the back and forth are doubled in amplitude and in this way the dead points are reduced, thus significantly increasing the efficiency of the apparatus, in the same direction the reduction of valve openings and closings.
As can be seen, the present invention is as simple as similar devices, but it makes it possible to take advantage of certain improvements, such for example, the air bell, it appreciably improves the performance of a device which is called above all to be robust. and to become engorged with difficulty, these last desiderata are moreover carried out to perfection by the present pump.
CLAIMS.
(1) A single fin, making the suction and delivery of the liquid at the same time.
(2) An air bell in the body of the pump itself, without special or expensive arrangements.
(3) Arrangement of valves and air bell in a small room.
(4) Arrangement of the drain tap, the latter pointing downwards.
