<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Telescopic mine frame.
Currently known telescopic mine frames have the serious drawback that the male element is not completely guided in the female element. It follows therefore that during the relative movements of these elements due in particular to the thrust of the earth, the lower edge of the female element comes into contact with the male element and gradually produces the rolling of the latter, which prevents the correct operation of the telescopic frame.
The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback. To this end, the invention provides that the free ends of the female element which is made in the shape of a U are folded down so as to embrace the male element. It can be understood that by this embodiment, the male element is completely guided during its movements in the female element.
The invention also provides that a crushing element, for example a wooden board, is interposed between the male element and a locking flange integral with the female element.
It is also provided according to the invention that in the
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
region where the clamps are located; the wings of the U-shaped element are notched so as to make the locking flanges integral with the female element.
The appended drawings show by way of nonlimiting example one embodiment of the invention. This extends to the various original features included in the arrangement shown.
The fig.l is a view of a mine frame according to the invention.
Fig. 2 is an enlarged view of the frame in the sliding region.
Fig.3 is a section along A-A of Fig.2.
In the telescopic mine frame according to the invention, the female element 2 is made in the shape of a U and its free ends such as 3 and 4 are folded down so as to completely embrace the pad 5 of the male element 6 housed in the aforementioned female element.
It can be understood that by this embodiment, the male element is completely guided during its movements in the female element.
The shoe 5 of the male element 6 is supported on a crushing element 7, for example a wooden board which itself rests on a plate 8 made integral, by a system of bolts and nuts such as 9, of stirrups such as 10 mounted on the female element.
It should be noted (see in particular fig. 2) that in the region of the brackets such as 10, the wings of the female element are notched so as to allow the passage of the plate 8 on which the crushing element rests. 7. As a result of this realization, the flanges of
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
clamping are therefore made integral with the female element 2.
Consequently, there can therefore be no entrainment of the clamping flanges by the male element and consequently no increase in tightening, nor risk of the bolts breaking by a tearing force.
It goes without saying that the invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described simply by way of example but that it applies in particular to any form of flexible or rigid frame produced in the form of a complete ring, of arch, horseshoe, curved element or .droit which can enter into the constitution of a mine frame.
