Afin de mieux faixe comprendrel'invention, on va en décrire ci-après un mode de réalisation pris à titre d'exemple aucunement limitatif et représenté dans les dessins annexés dans lesquels : la fig. 1 est une vue de profil du tombereau. les limons et les roues étant supposés enlevés;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

Tipping and Hanging System for Tombexeaux lice, in particular for Horse-drawn Traction Dumpers.
12, fur de la Chaussée, La Pelté Milon (Fiance)
The present invention relates to improvements to tombs; in particular to horse-drawn dumpers, and more particularly aims at a new system for tipping and hooking up the body.
According to one characteristic of the invention, the tilting control is ensured by two toothed sectors, fixed to the side of the body of the dumper, on either side of the latter, and taking place on a solid rack. axle line; the axes of the sectors are mounted

each on a roller which moves in a track preferably formed by a section, in the extension of which the coupling stringers are mounted. The whole of this device is arranged in such a way, when the rollers are at the end of their travel, the body occupies its vertical position, while when the rollers reach the other end of their raceway, the body is horizontal.
According to a variant of the invention, the travel of the roller can be limited at will by the exposure of an ankle which at the same time makes it possible to maintain the body in the desired tilting position, and suitable for unloading.
The attachment is carried out by means of two hooks arranged on either side of the body and whose nozzles engage on parts, metal for example, placed in front of it and forming a keeper. The hooks are paxed by a tab which allows the movement of the body to begin and pivots around an axis secured to the stringers.
One of the pins is provided with a lifting arm positioned so that its forward movement releases the hooks, the arms then exerting a force on a roller placed under the subframe la to release the body and start moving it backwards.
In order to better understand the invention, an embodiment will be described below, taken by way of non-limiting example and shown in the accompanying drawings in which: FIG. 1 is a side view of the dumper. stringers and wheels being assumed to be removed;
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Fig.2 is a corresponding end view; fig. 3 shows the body being tilted, and FIG. 4 is a view on a larger scale of the raceway and the corresponding components *
As shown in the drawings, the dumper comprises a body 1, metallic pax example, which rests on an axle 2 by means of two rollers 3, 3 'rotating on axes 4, 4' fixed on or in the body.
These axes are engaged in the longitudinal grooves of a niofil, for example of a U-shaped iron, designated pax 5, 5 'and which ensures the connection between the body itself and the axle by means of the uprights or gussets. 6,6 ', the axis 4 of the roller is moreover integral with a toothed sector 7, 7', the toothing of which meshes with a rack 8 which, in the example shown is constituted by studs 8 regularly spaced and held between the gussets 6 and a cheek 10. On the extensions of the profiles 5 in which the stringers can fit elsewhere, are articulated around an axis 11 of the arms such as 12, secured to a spout 13, which engages in rest position on the end a of the body longexori - properly right.
The operation of this locking device is facilitated by a lever arm 14, the pivoting of which around the axis brings the end of the lever 12 into contact with a roller 15 which absorbs and transmits the forces exerted on the arm 14 in the direction of the arrow, and which assumes the pivoting of the dumper autou.i: of its axis at the same time as the release causes the unwinding of the roller and its imperative guidance by the dentuxe of the sector meshing with that of the rack.
In order to prevent percussion that may occur
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
at the end of the race are not transmitted to the subventrièxe of the horse harnessed to the vehicle, the end of the spar 5 can, as shown in FIG. 4 be provided with an elastic damper constituted by a block 16 integral with a rod 17 guided in two plates 18 and 19 and carrying a compression spring 20 which absorbs the aforementioned percussions. Pax elsewhere.
the path of the roller can be limited by means of a pin 21 engaged in one of the holes 22 provided on the side member 5, preventing the roller from exceeding a determined position *
It is moreover obvious that the invention has been represented and described only by way of example and that numerous variants can be envisaged without departing from its spirit or its scope. It should also be noted that the invention is not limited to metal dumpers and horse-drawn vehicles, and that it applies, where appropriate, to all other modes of construction and / or traction.
