La présente invention se rapporte à une disposition permettant le maintien du pantalon de façon que celui-ci puisse être porté sans bretelles.
Une ceinture ne suffit pas à cet effet et de plus est malsaine. Un ruban élastique introduit dans la ceinture de culotte n'est également pas hygiénique, parce qu'il pro- voque une pression sur l'estomac. Les ceintures destinées à être placées au moyen de boutons, ceintures composées en partie de tissu et en partie de tissu caoutchouté, sont peu pratiques.

Suivant l'invention, le maintien du pantalon, sans bretelles, est obtenu de façon sûre et simple et ce sans préjudice aucun pour le corps, par l'application dans la partie supérieure du pantalon, allant du bord du pantalon vers le bas, de coins en tissu élastique par exemple en tissu caoutchouté. De préférence ces coins élastiques sont placés dans les parties du pantalon qui se trouvent entre l'os de la hanche et la colonne vertébrale. Pour l'applica- tion de ces coins,le pantalon doit être échancréet les coins élastiques y sont attachés par des coutures. Les coins seront choisis dans une teinte concordant avec la teinte du tissu du pantalon.
Avec le pantalon ainsi pourvu de coins, on peut porter une ceinture, mais uniquement pour des raisons d'es- thétique. La ceinture ne sert pas à soutenir le pantalon, cette fonction étant remplie par les coins élastiques.

Ils sont placés, en partant de la hanche, de façon que le milieu du coin élastique soit dans le premier tiers de la distance entre l'os de la hanche et la colonne vertébrale.
La partie inférieure des coins est effilée vers le bas.
Les pantalons auxquels l'invention est appliquée sont très seyants. En outre ils ne sont en aucune façon non hygiéniques, étant donné qu'ils n'occasionnent pas de pression ni sur le ventre ni sur l'estomac.

Bien entendu, l'invention s'étend aussi bien aux pantalons courts ou .culottes qu'aux pantalons longs du mo- dèle représenté.

According to the invention, the maintenance of the trousers, without suspenders, is obtained in a safe and simple manner and without any prejudice to the body, by the application in the upper part of the trousers, going from the edge of the trousers to the bottom, of corners made of elastic fabric, for example rubberized fabric. Preferably these elastic wedges are placed in the parts of the pants which are between the hip bone and the spine. For the application of these wedges, the pants must be scalloped and the elastic wedges are attached to them by seams. The corners will be chosen in a color that matches the color of the fabric of the pants.
With the pants thus provided with wedges, a belt can be worn, but only for aesthetic reasons. The belt is not used to support the pants, this function is fulfilled by the elastic wedges.
