La présente invention a pour but d'établir un appareil de publicité lumineuse dont la construction et l'agencement par- ticulier permettent de faire apparaître à l'observateur des inscriptions ou des motifs quelconques soumis à des variations continues de coloris.
Selon l'invention, cet appareil comporte essentiellement un boîtier de forme et de dimensions appropriées, dont une ou plusieurs faces sont constituées par une ou plusieurs caches ou tableaux ajourés fixes ou mobiles, portant les textes ou les motifs publicitaires et derrière lesquels sont disposés une série de barres pleines ou de tubes remplis d'un liquide coloré ou non, maintenus dans des cornières d'encadrement.

effets lumineux est constituée par une cheminée centrale transparente avec ou sans réflecteur, et de diamètre approprié pour recevoir la ou les lampes d'éclairage, la dite cheminée supportant au moyen d'un pivot ou d'une aiguille, un dispositif agissant à la manière d'une roue éolienne et auquel est sus- pendu un tambour de forme cylindrique ou autre en matière transparente et décoré de toute façon appropriée, lequel en- toure complètement la. cheminée.
Il résulte d'une telle disposition que le tambour, en se déplaçant derrière le rideau de barres ou de tubes, provoque le jeu de lumière particulier auquel est soumise l'inscription ou le motif publicitaire.
L'invention sera mieux comprise en considérant la des- cription qui va suivre, laquelle indique, à titre d'exemple, en référence au dessin schématique annexé, un mode d'exécution préféré de l'objet de celle-ci.

Suivant la forme de réalisation montrée en Fig. 1 et 2, l'appareil se compose d'un boîtier ou chambre a monté sur pieds b dont la partie avant c affecte une forme semi-cylindrique et dont la partie arrière constitue une sorte de caisson paralléli- pipédique d complété par un fond amovible c.

A l'arrière de ce tableau ou cache se trouve disposée une série de barres de verre blanc j constituant un rideau retenu également dans les rigoles 1 et g et maintenu en outre par des cornières ou analogues (Fig. 2).
A l'intérieur du boîtier a et de préférence au centre de celui-ci se trouve prévue une cheminée verticale 1 montée sur une embase m garnie d'une série d'orifices d'appel d'air n et renfermant la ou les lampes d'éclairage o,
Cette cheminée 1 est établie de manière à présenter pour l'une de ses moitiés, une face intermédiaire semi-circulaire 11, formant réflecteur, tandis que l'autre moitié constitue un écran transparent en celluloïd ou matière analogue.
Le demi-couvercle supérieur p de la cheminée 1 est pourvu d'un collet q dans lequel se trouve retenue une aiguille de préférence à pointe de tungstène, sur laquelle porte un saphir s1 prévu dans le fond d'un chapeau conique s, Ce chapeau coni- que porte une série de pales t s'étendant radialement.

Au surplus, le chapeau de l'hélice pourra être pourvu à son tour d'une aiguille de tungstène supportant un second tambour tournant par exemple en sens inverse par rapport au premier et portant les textes ou motifs publicitaires à consi- dérer.
Enfin, le boîtier de l'appareil ci-dessus décrit pourra éventuellement affecter la forme d'un cylindre ou colonne de forme quelconque, dont toute la surface pourra être garnie d'inscriptions, motifs de publicité ou autres, la source d'é- clairage étant dans ce cas entourée d'une cheminée entièrement transparente et le rideau de barres de verre s'étendait le long de toute la surface intérieure du dit boîtier.
