In some cases the products of combustion from the burner are used to heat a pipe disposed in or through this tank and serving for the passage of these products of combustion.
According to the present invention, the water in the tank is heated indirectly by an independent internal primary water heating system, which is heated by a gas burner or other thermostat-controlled heat source, located directly under the tank and acting advantageously on a serpentine, sinuous or other device forming part of this primary heating system, the 'tank' forming a complete assembly with the internal primary water heating system and the device intended to heat the latter .
In order to make the invention fully understood and to enable it to be carried out easily, it will now be described more fully, with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:
Fig. 1 is a partially vertical sectional elevation of the improved water heater apparatus.
Fig. 2 is a detail view of a preferred embodiment of the device which forms part of the primary water heating system and is heated by the gas burner or other heat source.
A designates the reservoir cylinder in which the water is indirectly heated by the independent internal primary water heating system which comprises an annular heating chamber B arranged concentrically inside the reservoir and completely immersed in the water which therein is contained, this annular heating chamber extending

up to a short distance from the ends of the tank and being provided at the top and the bottom, respectively, with flow and return pipes bv1 b2 which are connected to the heated coil, winding device or other device C by the gas burner D. The lower end of the tank is extended by a chamber E intended to receive the gas burner D and the device C.
The tank is provided with a central chimney F through which the combustion products or hot gases from the burner are discharged. Inside this tank, near or at the lower end of the chimney, there is a deflector or condensate collector f which has the shape of an inverted cone so as to deflect the combustion products or hot gases. from the burner to the outside and also prevent condensation water from falling on the burner.
The device mentioned C comprises, in the example shown, two elements in form c arranged one above the other, each element having several water paths c '(see fig. 2) and the elements being connected. between them by internal fittings c2 threaded on the right and on the left, the whole constituting an assembly for the circulation of water This device is connected to the outgoing and return pipes bl, b2 of the primary water heating system by threaded fittings c3 the connections being established in such a way that the device has a certain slope to facilitate the circulation of water. c4 c4 are openings closed by plugs, through which a suitable tool can be inserted to rotate the previously mentioned c2 fittings, in order to assemble the elements.
