<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 4 est une vue en plan de la fig. 2.
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

-Perfection in cooking stoves.
The present invention relates to a kitchen stove simultaneously providing central heating by circulating hot water and the supply of hot water for domestic needs,
This apparatus essentially comprises a system of two groups of separate heating tanks, the first group placed directly in contact with the hot gases, forming: boiler for supplying the central heating pipes, and the second group, placed behind the first, forming water heater for domestic needs, this second group receiving its heat from the first.,
There are already boilers supplying central heating * These devices make poor use of the heat from the hearth and lose a lot of heat by radiation.
On the other hand, they do
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
can provide separate hot water service.
On the other hand, the usual stoves are very generally fitted with hot water bottles intended to provide hot water in small quantities. These hot water bottles are inconvenient and also have the drawback: that the water often boils in them without any problem. necessity, causing unnecessary evaporation and attacking the walls of the appliance.
The invention does not have any of these drawbacks. The water heaters surrounding the boilers use all the heat emitted by them; water can never boil there; their large volume constitutes a reserve of hot water. On the other hand, the boilers, protected against excessive heating by the heaters which surround them, can be thin and of large surface, in order to make the best use of the heat of the gases and of the flames.
The accompanying drawing shows schematically one embodiment of the invention:
Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the furnace, the front face removed.
Fig. 2 is a perspective view from the front of the two groups of heating tanks.
Fig. 3 shows in perspective from the rear, the boilers supposed to be isolated from the heaters which normally surround them.
Fig. 4 is a plan view of FIG. 2.
The stove has the usual arrangement, the gases from hearth 1 passing through 2 above furnace 3, then returning below to escape through flue 4.
The whole is surrounded by a sort of U-shaped partition fig. 3) constituted by. flat reservoirs forming the boilers. There is thus a first boiler 5 on the left of the hearth, a s, econd 6 forming the rear face of the furnace, a third 7 cane- @
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
titling the right face. The flue 4 itself is double-walled so as to constitute an additional boiler.
All these boilers communicate with each other from the top and from the bottom * The upper communication between the flue 4 and the other boilers is ensured by an attached tube 8.
All the boilers are themselves surrounded by the water heaters. We thus have a heater 9 behind the boil ... their 5, a heater 10 behind the boiler 6 and a heater
11 behind the boiler 7. The oarnean 4 is, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, itself embedded in the heater 10.
, All these heaters communicate widely with each other.
The apparatus comprises two pipes 12 and 13 one terminating at the bottom of one of the boilers, the other at the upper part of another boiler (or of the same boiler), these two tubes respectively forming the return and the departure of central heating circulation. Two other pipes 14 and 15 lead to the top and bottom of the heaters. The lower pipe 14 is connected to the cold water pipe, the upper pipe 15 to the hot water distribution, shown in fig. 1 by a tap 16.
