La présente invention a pour objet des perfectionnements dans le dispositif de commande de la latte obturatrice de la garniture anti-courant d'air pour portes et fenêtres faisant l' objet du brevet principal numéro du procès-verbal de dép8t 8302 du 31 janvier 1928.
Dans la disposition décrite dans ce brevet , la latte mobile portant la garniture d'étanchéité était abaissée par sa butée contre le chambranle de la porte ou un autre élément fixe équivalent .Uette disposition nécessite que la garniture anticourant d'air soit montée à l'extérieur des portes.

Les présents perfectionnements ont pour objet un disposi- tif effectuant la même opération pour des garnitures disposées du coté intérieur des portes.Suivant l'invention,l'extrémité de la latte mobile est attachée à une chaînette dont l'autre extrémité est fixée à la base de l'encadrement de la porte de telle manière que cette chaîne , en se tendant à la fermeture de la porte détermine l'abaissement de la latte mobile. La même disposition est applicable sans modification aux fenêtres,bien qu'en général on supprime pour les fenêtres,la plinte envelop- pant généralement le mécanisme appliqué aux portes.
D'ailleurs,l'invention sera décrite en détail ci-dessous avec référence à la figure unique du dessin annexé,laquelle re- présente schématiquement,et à titre d'exemple non-limitatif, une vue de face du nouveau dispositif.
Référant à cette figure , .1 est la latte mobile appliquée contre le pas d'une porte 2 et munie sur son bord inférieur d'une garniture hermétique par exemple en feutre '.1. L'extrémité de la latte mobile 1 du côté des charnières est attachée à une chaînette 4 dont l'autre extrémité est fixée en 5 à l'encadre- ment ou au chambranle de la porte. La longueur de la chaînette ou son point d'attache sont déterminés de telle manière que lors de la fermeture de la porte ,la chaînette se tende et provoque l'abaissement de la latte mobile en surmontant la résistance des ressorts de rappel 6.
Inversement à l'ouverture de la porte, la chaînette 4 se détend et la latte 1 est à nouveau soulevée par les ressorts 6.
On se rend immédiatement compte que le dispositif peut être appliqué tel quel aux fenêtres de toutes dispositions.La présente invention porte également sur un autre perfectionnement au dispositif d'étanchéité tel que décrit au brevet principal et qui consiste à garnir l'extrémité de la latte mobile 1 ainsi que la portion du chambranle contre laquelle elle vient buter

à la fermeture de la porte, de pièces métalliques dont le frottement et l'usure sont considérablement inférieurs à ceux auxquels donne ' lieu la butée de pièces en bois sur bois. Les formes d'exécution de l'invention dépendent évidemment de chaque application particulièrement considérée.
