Description (à titre d'exemple) d'un deuxième type.

ECLIPSE SIGNAL AND MOVEMENT FOR VEHICLES.- The object of the invention is to provide the driver of a vehicle with the means of remotely signaling the maneuvers he intends to make and which may constitute an obstacle or a danger for others moving vehicles.
Description, - The device consists of a disc. 1 formed of fins 2, the plane of each of which is inclined relative to the plane of the disc. The disc is mounted on a bearing 3 integral with a shaft 5, the latter being supported at the ends by a frame 4 in the form of an arc. It can turn on its spport 6.

At the lower part, it is integral with a toothed pinion 7 which receives the movement of a rack 8. A flexible 9 remotely operates the rack 8. A spring 10 returns the rack 8 to its normal position.
Operation - Let us assume the device mounted on the side of a car windshield 17. The disc 1 is held by the spring of the rack 8, Immobile in a plane parallel to the running plane. 'The conductor acts on the flexible 9, the rack 8 by compressing, the return spring
10 brings the disc in a plane perpendicular to the tread plane, the air current of the tread acts on the fins
2, disc 1 rotates and thus constitutes a signal which calls for attention. The fins can be made of a highly visible glossy or colored material that shimmers at night under the lights of cars behind or going. When stationary, the device works by the wind or as a simple disc.
FIG. 1 shows the apparatus with its disc in a plane perpendicular to the plane. Steps. In figure 2, the disc is parallel to the running plane. Figure 3 shows the detail of the creamillera movement.
It remains understood that the device can take any shape (square, triangular, polygonal, etc.) be maneuvered. by a helix separate from the disc, be in two eclipse parts, or formed of a vertical cylinder, without the principle being different. The eclipse can be done by retraction behind a part of the vehicle.
Description (by way of example) of a second type. - A rectangular flap 11 is fixed at its major axis on a rod 12 bearing at the ends on a support 13, this flap can thus rotate about its axis. It carries some place of small fins or many

edges 14 and is locked by the action of a spring
15 in a plane parallel to the plane of marohe. The action of a flexible 16 acting on the spring 15 can unlock the device which rotates under the effect of the air current.
FIG. 4 represents this second device with its rotating shutter. In Figure 5 the shutter is locked in a plane parallel to the running plane, CLAIMS.
