CENTRAL HEATING INSTALLATION ALLOWING TO HEAT UNDER THE FIREPLACE.
In the heating installation system described in main patent N 330,767, the hot water coming from the boilers goes into the supply pipe to the radiators by crossing a multiple connection connected to the different pipes, Or, owing to its reduced dimensions, this connection causes a certain resistance to the passage of hot water or steam, so that, especially in the event of a particularly intense inflow of hot water, the latter can go directly into the cold water tank, without any useful result. To avoid this inconvenience, following this improvement,
this connection is replaced by a cylindrical body traversed vertically by the inlet pipe of the boiler and having two pipes laterally to which the pipes of the radiators and of the cold water tank are connected. Thanks to this cylinder, the The supply to the radiators is more regular and it is possible to dispose of a mass of hot water, which will make it possible to balance the circulation.
In the drawing appended to this memory, Fig. 1 still shows a schematic view of the heating installation, while Fig. 2 and 3 show an arrangement existing in the case of use of

certain types of boilers.
As shown in the drawing, where the same indices represent the same components as those given in the main patent, 13 designates a cylindrical body, made of suitable material, crossed over a certain part of its height by the vertical column 4 extending the piping. 3 coming from the boiler IA this cylinder 13 @ are connected the pipe 5 leading to the cold water tank 6, and the pipe 7 bringing hot water to the radiators 8.
As before, the water heated in the boiler I, arrives by successive thrusts in the piping 3 and through the column 4 in the cylinder 13, This water fills the latter up to the outlet level of the piping 7, which will thus be continuously supplied, even if momentarily the column 4 does not deliver. Any drop in the temperature of the radiators is thus avoided.
On the other hand, if an excess of steam occurs, nothing will prevent it from also reaching the tank 6, passing through the pipe 5. The cone 14 existing in the main pi patent has been abolished, his employment having no advantage.
