de la bandelette.
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig.1 montre la feuille découpée et estampée devant ser- vir de capsule ;
Figs.
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
un trou rectangulaire ou carré 51, Les bouts de la bandelette sont introduits successivement dans la face ouverte 6, et glissent sur la branahe 4 du crochet 4-41;

Metallic ocellate enhancements-

The present invention relates to meta, llic seals intended for. ensure the inviolability of a ligature, a link or t 'tdtt. also in metal. various types of meta111quaa seals have already been proposed and tested which consist of an anal b introduced into a metallic capsule; however. all these elements, present diiculties from the point of view of the expansion of the capUle or from the point of view of the configuration.

of the strip.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
In addition, inviolability is not absolutely guaranteed *
In accordance with the present invention, these drawbacks are eliminated by providing a metal capsule of simple and economical construction and of perfect performance, in which the metal strip is simply hooked; the configuration of the capsule after crimping is such that the ends of the strip exactly fill the opening intended for them and that removal of the strip is made impossible.
The capsule is formed from a cut and stamped metal sheet, one tab of which is folded in the shape of a hook, the entire sheet then being folded into a capsule.
The accompanying drawings show by way of example some variant embodiments of this invention; in these drawings:
Fig.1 shows the cut and stamped sheet to serve as a capsule;
Figs. 2 and 3 show the same capsule in two successive crimping phases.
Fig. 4 shows the same capsule seen from the front.
Figs. 5, 6 and 7 show a variant of the capsule in the unfolded and folded state, respectively, from the side and from the front.
Fig.8 shows a second seal to which is welded one end of the strip.
Referring to these drawings and first to Figs. 1 to 4, the capsule is cut in the shape of three successive 1-2-3 trapezoids, the first of which is designated by 1 and laterally provided with crimping edges il¯12 and the third of which, designated by 3, has an oblong tongue 4 -41 intended to form hook after folding the three trapezoids one on the other.
As shown in Fig.3, the tab 4-41 is in front of the open face 6 of the capsule; in the metal strip 5 serving as place this cut out near each end,
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
a rectangular or square hole 51, The ends of the strip are successively introduced into the open face 6, and slide on the branahe 4 of the hook 4-41;
by then pulling the strip passes under the branch 41 and is trapped. in the angle formed by the legs 4-441,
Referring to Fige ... 5 to 7, the capsule is formed of a rectangular cover 1-3-4. of which the first carries laterally the crimping edges 11-12 and of which the third 4 folds up to form a hook for the eyelets 51 of the strip 5,
Normally the tab 4 presses against the upper face 3 of the closed capsule so that a certain force is required for the introduction of the ends of the strip 5; these ends being trapped under the tongue 4 can no longer lower the latter since the very thickness of the trapped strip opposes it.
Referring to Fig. 8, the capsule is the same as that shown in Figs. 4 to 6, but the strip 5 ends at one of its ends with a fold 53 forming a hook, while the other end 52 is welded to the underside of the capsule; in the case of hanging up is done by the folded end of the strip and the folded tab 4.
The dimensions and the constituent material of the capsule and of the strip can obviously vary without departing from the spirit of this invention.
