Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   DESCRIPTION Panneau de construction préfabriqué

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

 <Desc/Clms Page number 3>

   DESCRIPTION Prefabricated building panel
The invention relates to prefabricated building panels, more specifically panels intended to function as interior walls of buildings.

   The construction of interior walls by masonry is a process which requires a lot of manpower. Therefore the installation of interior walls remains an expensive work and takes a lot of time.

  In addition, even when using hollow blocks, a masonry wall does not yield the desired qualities of thermal and sound insulation.

  There are still finishing problems, such as the straightness of masonry walls.

   Prefabricated panels of the “partition” type are also known. These normal concrete cross walls are too heavy to be handled by crane and in many cases show insufficient insulation qualities.

   In order to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks, the invention aims to provide lightweight ready-to-install panels having greater rigidity and having good insulation characteristics.

   The invention proposes using a concrete mainly based on cement and wood chips, hereinafter referred to as concrete-wood, for the manufacture of construction panels.

   By a molding process, the manufacture of 'ready-to-install' panels can easily be custom made in the factory.

   In addition the use of concrete-wood allows to obtain light walls which facilitates transport and installation. The concrete-wood wall

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

 has other advantages as well. It lends itself easily to the various transformations to be carried out after its completion, such as for example the creation of a window opening or a groove for conduits of all kinds.

   Other characteristics and advantages of the present invention will appear on reading the description given below with reference to the drawings, in which: FIG. 1 is an elevational view of the panel according to the invention; fig. 2 is an elevational view of the panel according to another embodiment.

   The panel, shown in Figure 1, consists mainly of concrete-wood 2. Concrete-wood 2 consists of conventional components for making concrete (cement, water, sand and gravel) in which granules of granules are replaced. wood shredded at a rate of approximately one m3 per m3 of finished concrete-wood. The use of other compositions (for example without sand) or other proportions is also possible for implementing the invention.

   On its periphery the panel is provided with a frame 1 which in particular ensures the rigidity of the panel.

   If necessary, and depending on the size of the partition, reinforcing elements 3 can be provided inside the frame 1 so as to produce smaller secondary frames.

   The edge elements of the frame 1 and / or the reinforcing elements 3 can advantageously be made either in treated wood rafters, or in metal or synthetic profiles, or in normal concrete.

   The reinforcing elements 3 can be arranged so as to form an opening 6 in the panel. The opening 6 in the example constitutes a door opening, but other types of opening can be envisaged by a separate configuration of the reinforcing elements 3.

   Another embodiment of the panel according to the invention is shown in Figure 2. On its upper part the panel is provided with a structure 7, such as a ladder, in wood or steel acting as a prelintel, which allows to execute all the cuts a posteriori. Openings like a window 5 or a door 6 can

 <Desc / Clms Page number 3>

 therefore be cut later, after hardening or even after placing the concrete-wood panel 2, since the concrete-wood is easily cut.

   Advantageously, a wire mesh 4 or other is placed at mid-thickness to reinforce the concrete-wood material 2 against, for example, perforation, punching or knocking.

   The construction of a panel according to the invention begins with the formation of a frame 1 according to the desired measures and shapes.

  The frame 1 and the reinforcing elements 3, previously produced, are placed on a horizontal support or table and filled with concrete-wood 2.

  After the concrete-wood 2 has hardened, a prefabricated wall is obtained.

   The example of this presentation shows a wall having a simple configuration, that is to say a rectangular wall with rectangular window. It is clear that the panel according to the invention can also be applied to less regular walls such as, for example, trapezoidal walls, walls with circular windows, etc.

   The building panel according to the invention can also be used as a partition for the separation of office premises, housing, schools or shops.
