<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

BELT CLIP AND STRAP
The present invention aims to provide a removable fixing object useful in the fields of fashion and the promotion of products and services. This is to present an object improving the aesthetic and practical appearance of a clothing accessory, luggage or other, that people wear. This improvement is made using parts correctly placed on the accessory, in order to fix the vertical or horizontal directions of the falling part of the accessory, of clothing or of luggage carried.
Traditionally. it is common to improve the aesthetic appearance of the clothes and accessories worn by people in their daily social life. The aesthetic aspect of wearing pants is. for example, improved by a simple ironing of the pleats of pants-Fashion is personalization. The fashion accessory market is experiencing great excitement.
The accessories improving the aesthetics follow this same expansion of creativity and the aim of the present invention is to present such an accessory.

It is precisely in this socio-cultural context that the object according to the present invention finds its reason for being placed on the market. The use of this object entails, moreover, significant advantages on the practical level.
From this point of view. a belt whose end is hanging down along the hips is very troublesome In some cases, when its length has not been
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
adapted. the belt even hangs along the legs. These circumstances make it difficult to access the pockets and are often a cause of discomfort when walking. These drawbacks are completely eliminated by the object according to the present invention.
This object is indeed fixed in a position chosen in a non-definitive but stable manner, after having carried out a simple sequence of mechanical operations, of total or partial translational rotation, sequence whose last operation is the implementation, by an easy intervention of the person carrying objects of a force making it possible to fix the vertical or horizontal directions of the falling or hanging part of the clothing or luggage accessory.
The simple operations which have just been mentioned. are as follows: - the object is grasped by its short sides, using two fingers (generally the thumb and middle finger); - we then slide a clasp between the pants and the belt by approaching the latter from above; - the unsightly hanging part of the belt is reassembled.
- The body of the object according to the present invention is folded down so that the belt is surrounded over its entire width; - the operations are ended by exerting a force which pushes the lower part of the visible face of the body, which ensures the closure of the clip.
After these operations, it is obvious that the object according to the present invention made it possible to fix, for example, horizontally, the. hanging part of the belt. Double aesthetic and practical points of view. everything therefore appears, for the user and for the observer as if the hanging part of the belt were held by a belt loop.
Other boxwood, advantages and characteristics inherent in the present invention will appear better on the basis of a preferred embodiment of the invention given by way of illustration and not limitation on the basis of the appended drawings in which:
Figure 1 shows the selo-T object. the invention, when it is made or manufactured from pure metal or an alloy
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
Figures 2a, 2b illustrate the accessories (1, 2):
1 denotes a belt; 2 is a bag strap.
Figure 3 clearly shows the final arrangement of the object placed on the accessory (l, 2), after the push of the clip 8 (figl) in the clasp.
As the various figures mentioned above show, the main elements constituting the invention or coming into play to give a clear explanation of the implementation of the object according to the invention are the following:
Accessories: accessory 1 is a belt for pants or skirt, clothing or others; 2 indicates a grip strap for luggage of any type.
The falling parts (3) of the accessories are shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b. They are unattractive, and not adapted while being obstructing along certain movements, however normal they may be.
The object shown in Figure 1 comprises a main part below designated by "body" (4) and a spring or a clasp (6). The visible face of the body (4) can be decorated with drawings, engravings, or be molded, which improves aesthetic appearance and can be used as a support to send a promotional message 1:; ion of product or service. In the final arrangement, in place, of the object according to the invention as can be seen in FIG. 3, it is clear that this promotional message will be prominently displayed on the external appearance of the person wearing the accessory (1, 2).
The object also has the distinction of having (Fig 1) a U-shaped section of more or less wide shape. This "U" of the body 4 can be closed by rotation of the designated part (FIG. 1) under the reference 6, which part can be a spring or a clasp. The rotation takes place around the axis (7) visible in the figure. 1 .. The falling parts (3) can be those of a belt or a strap (1,2) of luggage such as a bag (see Figures 2a and 2b respectively).
Having slipped the clasp between pants and belt, having made the falling part horizontal, (3) by rotation around the axis (7). We fold the object and we. the pcusse. to activate a clip 18) (: fig. 1), the production of which is easy for those skilled in the art.
- Legal protection is requested for any variant of the mode of implementation described. insofar as it does not depart from the spirit of the invention defined in the appended claims.
