Abstract

Un feutre pour la section de presse (4) d'une machine à papier, pour transporter une feuille continue (3) à travers cette section de presse et pour recevoir l'eau provenant de la feuille continue (3), le feutre pour la section de presse (4) comprenant au moins une couche de tissu (6) et une couche de surface (5,7) sur les deux côtés du tissu (6), la perméabilité à l'air des deux couches de surface (5,7) étant substantiellement moindre que celle de toutes les couches de tissu (6). Afin De rendre plus efficace la déshydration et d'éviter la ré-hydratation de la feuille (3), la perméabilité à l'air de la couche de surface arrière (7) est substantiellement moindre que la permébilité à l'air de la couche de surface (5) située du côté de la feuille (3).
