Abstract

Une composition de nettoyage fortement visqueuse pour surfaces dures comprenant en poids environ 65 à 80 % d'un véhicule liquide organique consistant essentiellement en environ 15 à 35 % de solvants organiques miscibles à l'eau et environ 35 à 70 % d'un mélange tensioactif non-ionique renfermant un acide gras éthoxyle comme l'un des tensioactifs et de l'hydroxyde de sodium qui réagit in situ avec l'acide gras éthoxyle pour former un véhicule organique gélifié clair non-coulable, pratiquement exempt d'eau. On obtient une suspension stable, d'environ 10 à 25 % d'un adjuvant abrasif particulaire hydrosoluble dans ledit gel organique non-coulable, qui est sous forme d'un produit gélifié nettoyant visqueux.A highly viscous cleaning composition for hard surfaces comprising by weight about 65 to 80% of an organic liquid vehicle consisting essentially of about 15 to 35% of water-miscible organic solvents and about 35 to 70% of a surfactant mixture non-ionic containing an ethoxylated fatty acid as one of the surfactants and sodium hydroxide which reacts in situ with ethoxylated fatty acid to form a clear, non-flowable, gelled organic vehicle, substantially free of water. A stable suspension of approximately 10 to 25% of a water-soluble particulate abrasive adjuvant is obtained in said non-flowable organic gel, which is in the form of a viscous cleaning gel product.
