Abstract

Procédé et appareil pour former un article à partir d'une feuille de matière de PET d'une épaisseur supérieure à 1mm, comprenant le chauffage de la feuille de PET (3) à une température de préformage d'approximativement 110 degrés C par des réchauffeurs (19) et (20) et ensuite le formage de la feuille (3) sur un moule à vide (6) chauffé, la feuille étant retenue dans le moule (6) par le vide et les surfaces (4) et (5) de la feuille (3) étant maintenues à une température d'approximativement 160 degrés C par le moule (6) et le réchauffeur (19) jusqu'à ce que le degré de cristallisation de la feuille soit de l'ordre de 35%.
