Description

AUSTRALIA
Patents Act 1990 COMPLETE SPECIFICATION STANDARD PATENT THE PRE CAST WALL CONSTRUCTION
SYSTEM
The following statement is a full description of this invention including the best method of performing it know to me.
smwmw "q THE PRE CAST WALL CONSTRUCTION SYSTEM.
This invention relates to a more efficient manufacture of housing.
The system consists of pre cast cement walls, foam filled with hollow sections to take wires and pipes, which slide together and held by steel pins, brackets and wedgers using METHOD 1 see fig 4 or steel unistrut channel and cross wedgers see METHOD 2 fig 2.
The wails are manufactured in only FOUR sizes, 3.6 metres wide, 1.737 metres wide, 2.357 metres wide, 1.116 metres wide, and all 2.4 metres high, see fig 3.
This allows for any FLOOR PLAN TO BE ACHEIVED. Thefour sizes are made in-few- standard designs using standard steel framed windows and doors, leaving only plaster ceiling and skirting board to complete the main constrution. see fig Corners and joines are covered with precast covers which clip to steel brackets ,see fig 2 and 4.
The four sizes of walls are designed to be manufactured on a forming line using only four size jigs.
The doors or windows would be fitted in the jig, 25mm layer of cement pored in, the foam inner installed, then filled with cement and finished off to a fine finish.
9999' Finish could also be of a cokored bead type.
Second storey homes.
A second storey can be fitted if pre cast floor slaps are fitted and then wall or roof panals installed as stage one, see fig 6.
If required jigs could incorperate a patten on the lower surface to give brick like look to outer walls or inside feature walls, or even a roman style half round pilers which could be used on outer walls or inside on hall ways etc.
I <1 3 SITE CONSTRUCTION 1. Cement slab is layed in the conventual way complete with pluming.
2. Install 6mm layer of morter then arrect walls using front end loader or crane or fork lift, locating wall on the morter 3. Install steel joiners and lock down steel wedges as you go for joining method 1 or for method 2 fit the bottom cross wedge first, therefore the next wall will locate correctly sliding down onto the wedge, when all wall and or covers are installed fit another wedge to the top of the join and drive it down to half way point, followed by a last wedge fitted to the top.
4. Joins and covers are installed using foam tape or flexable sealant to allow for expansion.
5. Standard roof trusts are installed by bolting them to the S. unistrut channel at the top of the walls, 6. Electrical and pluming is achived via foam ducts within the walls.
7. The only plaster required is the ceiling, achieved in the conventional way 8. Install the bottom skirting board also in the conventional way. which could be the new plastic bus way type which allows you to move power pts any where on the skirting board.
